Default Affirmations

Is it possible to be able to do three different affirmations at the same time? i'm sure I remember reading somewhere that it is only best to do one at a time.

??????

do you mean working on 3 different things at the same time....sorry I'm confused.

Or do you mean speaking them one at a time (and not going on to the next one...because there isn't a "next one" only 1!)

Sorry I did'nt make this clear, I mean working on three different things at the same time, for example.

affirmation 1: I am becoming more confident each day.
affirmation 2: My business is prospering everyday.
affirmation 3: I have now attracted a loving partner into my life.

And I would do these at different times during the day.

It may be tricky to simultaneously manage the unconscious beliefs that play into each one of your intentions, but otherwise, I don't see any issues. (Unless you are trying to intend two mutually exclusive things.)

I'm not sure I agree. Here's why. First, do you feel like you actually "manage" unconscious beliefs? It's interesting, but I feel like they manage me somehow.

Also, haven't you noticed that when your life is in balance, it seems to run smoother. Your relationship are going well, and so is your health, business etc!

I have found it CRITICAL to my success to have multiple affirmations...at least one in each area that I work on all the time.

Just food for thought...

I think regarding the idea of managing unconscious beliefs, (although I can't in any way claim that I have that under control, really)---that some introductory conceptual piece before specific intentions helps that a great deal, as does what we have been talking about--phrasing things positively and in the present tense.

I don't mean to belabor the introductory piece idea, but I do find that for one thing, it often covers some important aspects of most intentions (e.g, for the highest good of all, in a healthy and positive way). It also, for me, puts them into a helpful perspective (e.g., in its own perfect time, in an easy and relaxed manner, in good faith and in good humor). Think of so many religions and beliefs which use repeated phrases--prayers, mantras, chants and so on--seems powerful and a long standing part of things like this to my mind

And I agree with the idea of multiple intentions. I have some that are every day, some that are long term, and some that are just this week--either because I have a specific goal this week or because something specific has come up which I want to have a good effect on.

Sean83, have you heard or experienced problems related to having more than one affirmation? I think it does make sense to space them out a bit, whether by seconds or minutes or hours--maybe to let each of them settle in.
