Career Intentions Manifested.

Late last year I applied for a temporary job, was told about when the job would start but as the time drew closer hadn't heard anything. One Thursday evening I had enough waiting so decided to do something, I went out and bought 2 tops that I intended to be worn on the job. The next morning the phone rang telling me I had the job and would start on Monday.

When the job finished I had the opportunity to become a part time staff member but at that stage I wasn't ready to do that. I knew there was another temp job coming up in the new year so asked to be considered for that. I hadn't heard anything close to end of Feb so decided to visit the first place to buy something I needed. I determined that on the way that I would be hearing about the job while I was there. Almost as soon as I walked in the door, the manager came up to me telling me she had been about to ring me to tell me that the job was starting on Monday and if I was still interested. When we went in the office to get the forms, she had my paper work on the desk - I noticed she had my phone number wrong.

I had also been thinking that I needed a permanent job, money is getting tight. I was asked if I wanted to put an application in for a part time position, I wanted to get the temp job over before deciding. Last night I made the decision that I would apply, my intention was to work 3 days during the week, a couple of weekends a month, I also specifically wanted Tuesdays to get out of something I am involved with on that day. Today I spoke to the manager about it, without her knowing what days I wanted she told me that it was 3 weekdays starting with Tuesday and every second weekend. We still need to discus more before the final decision is made but so far so good.

I've been reading the Law of Attraction lately and I am really getting it's message, when I tried reading The Secret I couldn't get into it and never finished the book.

The last couple of years since quitting my last job I've been wondering what I should be doing with my career, I gave myself several card readings that always came up with that there was something on the horizon that I couldn't see yet. I've not given myself a reading on my career for some time but last night I wanted to check on my decision, the second card out which is for the present time was "You found it". How cool is that?
