Maybe. For example, a fairly new acquaintance of mine has some connections and has offered to help me get off my artistic-endeavor "shnide", but the first bit of help is taking the form of dealing with a specific 'geeky' fear of mine. I just flat out hate making phone calls, and here she's got me practicing phone TAG!

My dreams have been right most of the time. In the case of relationships, I ALWAYS had some kind of sign from a dream about how it was going to work out.

No....I noticed you posted at 5:11 (as it shows on my computer) so I just had to post.

I was facing a difficult situation yesterday so before I encountered it I asked for a sign that I was headed in the right direction. I wanted someone to tell me something startling out of the blue.

Oh, and I wanted it to be delightful. I wanted to be charmed.

(Then I had to do my usual "put it back in the closet and stop messing with it" thing because my biggest problem with manifestation and signs is leaving them alone to do their work. Anybody have any good methods for "forgetting" an intention once you've made it? A good mantra or incantation?)

I went to the gym and I said hello to this guy I know (a chat-em-up friend, we don't know each other outside the gym) who is really kind of charming in a weird sort of way, kind of grouchy-charming, iykwim. He often has a weird story to tell that involves pain of some kind but tells it in a way that makes me laugh. So we said hello then both of us went back to working out. Then he came over to me (so this is now "out of the blue") and told me about a weird occurrence that happened at the bar he manages last night. Yes, it was a startling story! And I was charmed by his telling, and delighted that he was telling me it.

It worked!

Anybody have any good methods for "forgetting" an intention once you've made it?

Staying the present moment seems to work for me. I've got an awesome sign story to tell.

Three days ago I had a question and asked for a sign to show I"m going in the right direction. I asked for a feather. (didn't specify color or anything) I take a walk everyday and I often go to a park that at the moment has tons of Canadian Geese hanging around. On my walk two days ago, I suddenly remembered my request and was looking for feathers for a couple of minutes- not ONE feather around, which was weird. Today I was at a friends house and she showed me a book that she had from 1850, she opens the book and out fell a goose feather!!! She said "now how did that get in there?" I instantly remembered my request from three days ago.. I have goosebumps writing this now!! Amazing!!

I should add that I just got back from my walk by that park and noticed alot of feathers around. I think the universe was trying to show me that my request had been heard and put a feather in an unexpected place to get my attention and so that I would believe.

Several years ago I had a date set up with a girl about a week in advance. She was considerably younger than me but we were both very attracted to each other, physically at least. Two nights before the date I had a dream that I was standing beside her bed and she was lying down. She said,"You're going to have to wear three condoms because I have a little problem right now." Then I woke up, a bit shaken up also. A while later I was told some things that confirmed the dream was a legitimate warning.
