Default Resisting as a good thing?

hi everybody..

Tolle has a sentence in one of his audios, it's like :

"when you're transformed, you're transformed, because the world is just a reflection.... anything bad that happens in life, use it for enlightenment... transform sufffering into consciousness... are you seriously ill and feeling angry
now about what I just said? then it's a clear sign that the illnes became a part of your sense of self, and that you're now protecting your identity. as well as proecting the illness."

so when I resist a thought, is it a sign that there's some problem in that area, and by resisting it, I actually keep my reality that way? if it is, resisting can be a good thing, because it shows you the problem area.

so how resisting works? it's always reversed? can I resist what I want? if so, why it doesn't create it?

When you resist, you suffer. It is as simple as that. Resisting can't be a good thing because you're suffering. Suffering is a dysfunctional way to show you the problem area.

Resisting what you want is the same as 'wanting' what you want. When you 'want', you resist the present moment which is all there is.

What you resists persists,If you focus on something you will automatically get more of it.

Check out what Dhrama says to Seirwyn in a recent post "unintended things manifest. It should help.

Regards.

A good question to ask yourself is, "Who is doing the resisting?" Instead of analyzing what is resisted, which is a projection in itself, why not analyze who is projecting that which needs to (or not) to be resisted. The answer will be of higher quality....
