Seems like I'm not the only person around here familiar w/ Justis Chase. He seems to believe that charging money for teaching intention manifestation creates bad karma, which would have a negative effect on the process. Any thoughts on this?

I really don't believe that charging money for teaching manifestation will necessarily result in bad karma. It depends on ones beliefs about money. There is always an exchange of energy in a manifestation. One thing is sure though if one strongly believes that bad karma will result from charging for teaching then bad karma will result.

I just read that guy's website, and I don't really think I like him. He seems to peddle a lot of fear. I mean, half his site is a rehashing of, "Oh noes!!!! If you do it wrong, it won't work and you will be teh suck. Don't try to teach this stuff either; only I am that l34t. I'm not trying to make money but I want you to 'donate' $50 to attend." He just doesn't come across as 100% genuine.

Look, guys.

Go back to the very first principle of LOA. Whatever LOA guru/book/CD/DVD you're reading or listening or following, the most fundamental principle is that your thoughts create your reality.

This principle, if accepted as true, is enormous. So enormous that it must follow that there are numerous different ways to try to apply that principle, for practical purposes.

So this is a case where there are many ways to be "right". There are also many ways to be "wrong", but there certainly must be many ways to be right.

Any method which offers a viable way to improve your thinking would lead to a viabe way to improve your reality. The method could be based on hypnosis ... affirmations ... writing exercises .... meditation ..... creative visualisation .... emotional awareness .... prayer ..... NLP .... writing down your goals .... planning ...... reading inspiring materials .... having positive values .... etc ....

So nobody ... NOBODY ... has a monopoly on "the" way to manifest your intentions.

It would be as absurd as someone painting a picture, beautiful as it may be, and then saying that "This is THE way to paint a picture, the ONLY way, every other way doesn't work, only MY way."

No! There are ugly pictures, and there are great pictures, and all of them can be painted in many different ways, using all kinds of different techniques, materials, ideas, styles, principles etc etc.

The so called ugly pictures are beautiful in someone’s reality. Or their “ugliness” is there to contrast so beauty can exists. Their manifestation into this world had to have an intention as its creational starting point. So in my perspective all of it is an individual string of reality (Quantum Physics String Theory) where no right or primary string exists.

Yes. However, in my earlier post, I was referring to "beautiful" subjectively - from the perspective of the person painting the picture.

So what I am saying is that there are many possible ways to paint a picture that is beautiful to you. Don't believe any joker who tells you that if you want to paint a picture that's beautiful to you, you will have to follow his method, and his method only, and no other method will work etc etc.

I read through the free e-book and think he may have some good ideas as to why "trying" just gets more "trying" and so forth. He basically says to do what you can to experience pleasure and joy right now and these feelings will then create more circumstances which bring the same feelings, he says to do this instead of pursuing "things" in the hope they will bring the feelings. When it boils down to the basics of it, what we are all chasing is a feeling.

this isn't new info, he just presents it in a fresh way in the e-book.

The knowledge stands on it's own, regardless of the source, as it has since the beginning of time.
