I am expecting my tax refund in about a week, and I have been really thinking about what I'm going to be doing with that money.

A couple years ago, I was in the same space - I was making lists of things I wanted to do, places the boys and I could go, things we could buy. I had a feeling of anticipation and excitement - and knowing. I had no doubt my tax refund would come. In the weeks between the time I filed my taxes and I actually received the refund, I won a scholarship to a retreat that I really wanted to go on (including a massage while there!), I got a free piece of art by helping the artist name her line, and a friend gave me a juicer, out of the blue. Now, those did take some action - I had to write an essay to win the scholarship, I had to tell the artist what I thought would be a good name, etc. But I really learned a lot! Anticipation, excitement, and knowing are powerful!

This year, I'm going to pay off some debts with my refund. One is to someone I once owed almost $3,000 to. I've been paying that off, $100 every month for almost the past two years. I've been thinking of how great it will feel to have that paid off. I had about $900 to go. I was thinking of how much it will help to have that $100 each month, and how light I will feel once I've paid that, and some other debts. Yesterday morning, I got an e-mail from the person to whom I still owed $900 - he's forgiving the rest of my debt. Wiped from the books!

I hadn't even been thinking of what happened two years ago, Law of Attraction, etc. I was anticipating how it would feel once I was debt-free, and knowing, once again, my refund was coming.

This stuff is so cool!

Thanks for the reminder. I've been struggling financially, but whenever I get out of the scarcity mindset, my boss will out of the blue give me some additional work to make extra money or tack on $15 to my check because it's been a tough week. Gotta remember to stay positive and live abundantly. Thanks again!

Gotta remember to get a boss like that, too! Must be a good person.
