I normally don't just like pasting links on these forums that lead somewhere else, but this weekend I had a very profound realization relating to the Law of Attraction which I wrote about in an article I wrote today. It relates to the Law of Attraction, taking action and creating value. If anyone's interested, it can be found here: 3 Ways to Increase Your Value and Your Income | How to Make Money Doing What You Love |

Very interesting, and I can see how your previous belief created only circumstances that would reinforce that belief. And you weren't even aware of it, which shows how powerful we are when we aren't aware that we are.

I've actually been working some with the alignment idea for awhile, although I haven't really started to look at it as affecting previous events . . . even though that idea has always intrigued me, since reading the quote in Illusions along the lines of, "You are always free to choose a different future, and a different past." When I do any work, I like to be in a positive, giving, happy frame of mind, and I've often wondered (but haven't really been able to tell), if my results are much better when I'm like that. A couple things come to mind here which have made me focus on this behavior. One was reading from some rock star or other, and I don't remember who now, who said his band puts on the same show if they're playing to 10,000 people or 100 people. They don't scale it back and think less of it if the crowd is small. Awhile later, I went to see George Thorougood at a Holiday Inn. I was figuring he would be less than thrilled to play there, but he really kicked ass. I remembered the quote about putting on the best show they can even if it's only 100 people. Another is dj's. I used to work at a radio station, and I'd walk through the hall and see the dj's talking on the air, introducing the songs and stuff. It wasn't at all like I thought, which is that they'd sit in a chair and just talk into a microphone. A lot of these people were on their feet, waving their arms around, like they were on stage. They also typically had a big smile. I realized all this action helped them align with the way they wanted to sound on air. (I wasn't thinking 'align' exactly, but that's what it meant.) Here's another, to use your telemarketer example. One day I answered the phone, "Hello!" and some guy on the other end was laughing. Laughing and laughing. I was starting to laugh myself. Then he realized somebody had picked up. He shifted into telemarketer mode and asked if Ms. Whoever was there. I said, "You're having way too much fun." He went off into another gale of laughter. They were having a great ol' time there at the MCI telemarketing center. I told him I was so tired of getting calls from MCI, that I would never consider getting their phone service even if it was free. He howled. He said he hears that all the time. He told me how great it was working for MCI, how much fun it is, how cool the people are, how he loves his job. I tell you, it really made me want to get MCI phone service! I told him I would never do it, but if there was any chance, he would've been the one to push me over the edge. I've been writing SEO content for websites and at first it felt so lame. I'd look at the articles and snort. Every time I showed one to somebody I'd talk about how silly it all is. At some point I realized that if I kept that up, it would probably lead to my not having this opportunity anymore. Even if my writing didn't suffer, I'd still be sending these vibes out into the ether. Then I decided that everything I write for this SEO content company will be a masterpiece! On a different subject. In your blog post previous to the 111 one, you listed "the reasons you're not rich." I was so glad to see you included "you're financially ignorant." In the LOA world, that is usually completely ignored. And one more thing -- one of the most profound ideas I've seen in regard to LOA and money was the comment you made recently here at the IM forum about how the LOA tends to bring things to us in the easiest possible way, which can be why people who are IM'ing for money get offered massive amounts of credit. Which then gets them in trouble. They don't learn how to earn money or even how to win money or get presents of money or whatever. They learn how to get money through loans, because that's easy. | |

Good Stuff Impala 99! For those who haven't read this post, please visit it on his blog. 3 Ways to Increase Your Value and Your Income | How to Make Money Doing What You Love. It's amazing to me that once you realize how LOA works when you understand how your Mind, Conscious, Subconscious, and body works. It really opens up a whole new perspective on your life and how you can control it! But knowing that the state of feeling in the NOW as well as way of thinking in the NOW, affects your future results! So I will start today about feeling good about myself and my situation NOW! Awesome! Wow, it really does work!! Rodney "Red Wolf" Last edited by Red Wolf; 01-15-2009 at 12:17 AM. |

You are absolutely right though. Even with LoA you need to learn sound financial principles. You need to learn the vocabulary, terms, concepts and ideas of how financial markets work so that you can work within the markets. Also, the more you learn about finances, the less fearful they become and easier to attract. Quote:
