ok so this is pretty cool. So I did write in another section that I was looking for a new second hand car. What I didn't explain was what I really doing in the background. So I needed to get a new second car, prior to looking I did quite a bit of manifesting and basically saying what type of car I wanted. I even put a mazda 3 hatch as my screensaver (this is something I never do) but I was despeate not to have an ugly second hand car. I wanted something funky and what I would happy to drive for a change. Anyway, through my thought process the whole time I was saying " I really I don't want to pay for this second car, I just really don't want to pay for it". I also had the belief, that somehow I was going to get a car free, I actually entered a lot of competitions to do with cars too ( I don't ever do this either), but I was desperate and I was really adamant that I didn't want to pay for my new car. I also thought maybe I wouldn't win a car, but me putting effort into getting a free car might help. In the back of mind I was always thinking, "well actually this we be the case, I wont have to pay for my car". I'd never been so sure of something before. So nothing really eventuated with my competitions and so I decided maybe I was deluded and I should start looking for cars. I still kept I thinking well me looking for cars, might help with my intention, you know visualizing cars in the flesh. I finally came to a point where I was about to buy a car, I was really set on it, I was immersed in the idea of buying a car. I decided my intention was hocus pocus and I needed to be realistic. So I was now ready to buy my new car. I was ready to go in the next day to sign the papers, but for some reason I held back. I analyzed the situation some more, as I usually do and came to the conclusion that I really did not need to rush into buying a car and in my mind I had a little voice say, "this is not the right time, something else will work out". I think my family thought I was nuts because I did a complete 360 from one day to the next. So jump to yesterday, my dear gran found out that she is no longer able to drive her cute little silver hatch due to her eyes deteriorating and that I can have her car for free on the priviso that I help her out some time with appointments. My family heard the news and thought, "wow, how lucky was it that you didn't buy that car, that you were so close to buying". Little do they know The funny thing I was really wanting a car like my grans, but didn't want to get one because most of the cars advertised had too high kms but my grans car has hardly any. Ok so I didn't get the exact car I imagined for free, but I am pretty damn happy with it. It's a nice looking car. So why should it matter what my car looks like? I guess, because I am a libran and librans like to immerse themselves with things that look nice. It's not because I am materialistic, I just like being around nice things, those things make me happy and since I drive quite a bit, I want to be happy in the car I drive Last edited by ellie; 01-04-2009 at 01:44 AM. |

That's awesome! I really want a 3-speed bike. I have found 3 of them leaning against poles in my neighborhood. The first one had gearing that wasn't right for my hilly city. The second one is too big for me but has the perfect gearing. The third one is too small. I'm hoping for a fourth one that is just right. |

Guess what? I no longer have the car. My gran apparently is able to drive for the time being. Hmmm I didn't see that one coming! I was not having any negative thoughts about the car being taken away from me either. Oh well, never mind.

Well, about a week later my dad said I could have his car as he just prefers to walk everywhere. Ha ha! It's been about 2 months and I am still driving it |

wow! that is so cool! I have had similar manifestations in the past, but I was never REALLy sure if they were "just coincidences", but your story makes me think they were probably IMs since that's what I was trying to do. This is definitely encouraging that we can manifest the things we want if we just keep intending. |

Nice! Add another free car to the list. : ) A couple of months ago I'd put on my IM list that I wanted an older Mercedes diesel as a second car. A few weeks ago, I had a student call me and tell me that he wanted me to have his father's car. His father had recently passed away - and hadn't been driving the car for months as he'd been using his van. The car had just been sitting at his sister's house. They were almost ready to call the junk yard. I met his sister, and she signed the title over to me. And she was very happy to have the car go into loving hands - rather than the crusher. I never wrote down that I wanted it for free, or that it had a stick shift and a sunroof. But that's how it came to me, and that's what I got. My ultimate car like this would, of course, be stick and have a sunroof. The body is in perfect condition. Mechanically the car is great. All it really needs to be restored to its former glory is a good paint job, and a bit of clean up in the interior. Not much at all. And for a 29-year-old car it only has 140K miles on it. Anyone who knows these cars, knows that with that kind of mileage - it's just getting broken in. I really have an affection for older (mostly German) cars. And I especially appreciate older Mercedes diesels. In fact, a 240D taxi in Greece logged the most miles ever reported for a car - over 2.8 million miles. With some care, attention, and love, this car could last for another 20-30+ years. Last edited by Dot; 06-16-2009 at 04:23 PM. |
