Default How to Stop Attracting Debt, Forever!

Are you looking for practical tools to eliminate debt? Practical tools that will help create a new and powerful mindset, the abundance mindset? You’re in the right place. Here is an exercise that will set you up as a vibratory magnet for money, regardless of where you are financially. It’s a great way to set your vibration to attract more money while paying the bills.

I normally don’t do this exercise with bills because our bills are automatically withdrawn from our necessity account. Instead, I do this exercise when I receive checks, regardless of what size they are.

Recently, I received an affiliate commission check for $179.19. I took a piece of paper and wrote down 100x that amount.

$17,919.00

Then I just closed my eyes and held the image of the new check in my hand with the new amount. It felt like it was really in my hands; I was thinking about what I was going to do with that money….. all the great luxuries I could afford, the gifts I would buy, the places I would visit, the people I would see and the vacations I would take. It felt wonderful. How do I know it’s working? Because of the feeling, that’s how.

It’s just a simple visualization. Straight forward, right?

Why this Visualization Doesn’t Work for Most People

Here’s the thing. I’ve gone through the same exercise with different people, and the response is almost always the same. It’s as Wallace Wattles said,

“…this is where most people meet shipwreck…”

You see, the problem comes back to conditioning. You’re always conditioning yourself and programming your mind what to think. It’s not something that happens by chance, you continually choose your thoughts. I’ve talked about this before in Attraction is a Choice.

When people think about having an extra $1,000, $10,000 or $ 100,000 the first thing on their mind is paying the bills and eliminating debt. And to make matters worse, they actually get excited at the thought. They’re projecting strong positive feeling at the sight of paying their bills.

I hate to say it, but this is going to keep you in debt forever. Why?

Because the good feelings of paying debt will encourage the re-creation of that experience over and over again. Feeling good about paying debt actually attracts more of ‘paying debt’ into your experience.

It’s a continuous cycle of debt payment that you continually recreate.

So what should you do instead?

How to Eliminate the Thought of Debt

You should eliminate the thought of debt from your mind completely. You’ve got to get the idea of paying debt out of your head so that you focus on attracting more money. And the only way to get out of debt is to manage your way out of debt - not think your way out of it.

How do you do that?

Use the JARS Money Management System. This system will get you out of debt because you don’t have to think about it. It works on autopilot. It’s a money management system that you can set up to function automatically - that means without you - which means you’ve just freed up enough neurons in your brain to think of abundance and prosperity instead of debt, debt, and more debt.

If you haven’t started the JARS or any other money management system, go right now and read this article to get started: Managing Money - The JARS System (see the freedomeducation link below to find it)

Once you’re managing your way out of debt, what do you do next?

Think wealth and well being. Think about the magnificent vacations you’re going to take, the people you will entertain and the lifestyle you will now enjoy with that big juicy check.

How are you going to spend the money on yourself? How are you going to really enjoy that money so that more can come to you?

Money is nothing but green energy - if you want more of it, you’ve got to enjoy the money you’ve got and more will come.

How to Attract More Money While Paying the Bills

The next time you receive a bill, take a piece of paper and write down 100x that amount. Let’s say the bill is for $87.42. A phone bill or gas bill, or whatever. Take a piece of paper and write down 100x that amount,

$ 8,742.00

Now close your eyes and visualize the check in your hands as you just received it and think about what you would do with that money. Really think about it.

If your mind goes to debt by default that’s ok - be patient with yourself and create a new picture. Think of something really enjoyable you could do for yourself with that money. Think of something fun and new, something you always wanted to do, but didn’t because of a lack of money.

Once you get that new image, just hold onto it. Add color and brightness to it. There is a science to this, so stay with me here. Add some width to the picture, make it panoramic or a wide-screen view. Just be as creative as you want; it’s your life - you get to create it the way you want it. Think BIG!

How do you know it’s working?

You know if this visualization is working if it feels good - that’s how. If you’re feeling good then you’re sending out a high frequency of vibration that is penetrating all time and space. You’re actively attracting more money into you life.

Make 2009 your best year yet!

Steve, Feeling the Green Energy

Hey Lil Chris - your welcome.

It's such an odd thing, because logically you would think that feeling good just brings more good - not in this case

I have to admit, this is true. I used to worry about my debt and then tried to change it to getting happy about paying it off, neither of which was beneficial. What I realized after reading this is that I hadn't ever thought about what to do with money after the debt's gone. I would think about how, if I got a gift of money, it would all go to pay off debt and then I could see how much was left over, but now I want to think about what to do with a huge amount of money that's mine outright. Realistically, I would want to pay off as much as I could as fast as I could (who wouldn't?), but looking past that is necessary, too. Tricky li'l LOA....

Default It's The Emotion

My personal feeling is that negative or positive, a thought charged with emotion is the one most likely to manifest. Goes back to Earl Nightingale, you become what you think about. Think about being happy paying bills...then you get to be happy paying bills. Think about making lots of money and sitting on the beach...then your RAS will pick up things that will serve you in attaining that goal as well.

Great insight. Thanks for the information smartile

Hi Raymond,

Yup - you make a great point and I now see how I was misunderstood.

Here's my take on it.

In my past experience when I was accumulating more debt, the minute I would come into money or cash I would get excited about paying my debt. The problem here is that I would see (picture) my debt balance and then get excited about it.

I was actually feeding the picture (of my credit balance) more power. It's subtle, I know.

Nowadays, I don't make the same picture - I don't even think about it, much. I think of earning money and that makes me feel good too, except now the picture I'm giving my power to is no longer my credit balance - it's my bank account balance.

Default Held my check

I forgot why I did it at the time...but I held one of my small commission checks this morning and added a couple 0's. Closed my eyes, danced on the beach.... and then said "what the heck, I'm bouncing around my kitchen like a weirdo!" I sure had some fun though.

Cheers smartile

This post renewed my faith in this forum. I've been here for a long time and lately I've been noticing that there has been very little value for me on these forums. I'm not really too interested in Steve's latest direction myself, and the IM forums have been filled with the same exact discussions that have already been discussed hundreds of times already.

Of course I understand that there is always an inflow of new people, and the questions will be re-asked, and I don't mind helping out by answering them again, but sometimes it would be nice for me to get a nugget for myself.

Today, when I read your post, I got my nugget. AWESOME!

Thank you so much Smartile.

I posted something similar in the "what have you manifested" thread but I feel like I should mention it here. I made an intention yesterday, and have made two steps forward towards the goal with no different action on my part other then the fact that I posted my intention.

I'm flying pretty high right now. I'm also feeling more motivated towards working on my true passions and not 'where the money is right now".

Different questions from different folks about plugins, traffic boosters and things like that. I got some great resources and tips for my own business in regards to funnels and tracking so that was awesome.

I didn't want to come into a fresh community with only a couple of posts and start linking to my stuff. I also wanted to be able to say some things (like my intentions for my online business) and share some ideas without everyone thinking it was simply for promo.

I was just over to your site and I'm going to shoot back now because there were a couple of articles that I wanted to look over. It's a really great site and not the usual rehashed personal development stuff. Tre Cool.

I'll have to hook up the rss so I can remember to keep coming back.

There are a few of us Yaro's over here eh? That's too funny. I'm really glad to see that some beautiful blogs are in the program because it pumps up my confidence in **************. Not that it needed any pumping especially after last nights call and the help I got from them.

I'm really glad to have met you guys. Fun times!

No, I took the course over a year ago and haven't really been back to the forums lately. In terms of technical information I'm a lot more focused on affiliate marketing right now and a lot more of the psychology/spirituality/law of attraction side of things.

I definitely should tune into the calls though and pop by the forums.

How is the 'psychology/spirituality/law of attraction' side of things coming along for you Paul? I'm being pulled to spend more time there myself as I feel a sense of discovery and excitement when I'm involved in it. When I spend time on the established business, it just feels like rehashing and I'm not excited to complete the tasks anymore. All I do is answer questions but my own personal development doesn't get evolved. The end result has been that I'm really good at something that does not excite me any more!

Wow! This has given me such a lightbulb moment!

I was in dreadful debt as a student and it took me years to get out of and it gave me such a kick when I did! I promised myself - never again. 5 years later - where was I again? Paid it off again - fab feeling. Now, again?

Anyway, I cleared off a credit card yesterday and got a thrill from doing that so I know EXACTLY what you mean!

Now I'm going to rack my brains for all those other things I think I want but really I want the thrill of overcoming a challenge instead like losing weight (so hence I put it back on again so I can have the thrill of working it off again).

I enjoy a bit of a 'struggle' a bit of 'friction' etc. Hmmmm.... nice post thanks and I'll certainly check out your site!

As one of the posters above said LoA is certainly a tricky little customer!

Default In awe of your brilliance here

I mean really, never NOTICED that part of it.

Actually I was thinking of imagining the bank statement.

Deposits, $3,469.72. OOh, that's a new high.
Withdrawals: $1,269.41. Wow, that looks small now...
Net... I can't believe it, I've SAVED more than I spent...

But yeah, I think I must have manifested a few of these debts.

A bit off-topic,but is mind and brain really same?Is it the brain which thinks, creates, attracts?A physcial brain creating-attracting physical things?
Some people say they are same, some say they are not,i prefer the idea that they are not same.
