Question---if you are focusing on joy, bringing positive things into your awareness, will LOA remove harmful things from your life in such a way that thinking of the harmful thing makes you sick? I had a jarring experience and it's forced me to decide to give up something that was not healthy, even though at the time I thought it was healthy. Now if I even think about that thing (something that used to be very positive for me) I get this pit in my stomach. It happened in such a way that I can't go back to this unhealthy thing and still have my self-respect or feel good about myself. Something I relied on, is now gone. Maybe my vibration is messing with me. |

Oh yea! You never know why a "good" is turning bad till you get the message! when you get it, it is so obvious, that you feel pretty silly.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but a lot of times when you start focusing on the good your bad will just disappear. I will give you an example. I had to go run some errands and was in a real bad mood and started telling myself: "Everything goes smooth for me. Things now go smooth for me. Everything is going smooth for me" and suddenly someone called and said they were dropping off one of the items I needed. I then was able to handle another errand over the phone in less then a minute and another situation was also cleared up over the phone immediately. Suddenly everything I thought I had to do was now cleared up. |

The bad disappears.... but not always in fun happy ways. In some cases ways which make you feel lousy. But maybe the lousy feeling about the subject is the point. Now when I think of my nebulous experience I'm referring to, and I get that feeling in my gut, that's my inner guidance saying "don't even".

Well my last huge good/bad experience is when my youngest daughter got a wonderful private school as an exchange student in California. We paid the tuition, bought the plain ticket and got ready, but then a mail came from the organization we where going through that she was to go to a school in Alabama. No offense but that school did not have what we agreed on, and paid for, like the one in California. It was almost the beginning of the school year, I was furious, devastated but hen the "Who knows why this is good" kicked in. I said NO to Alabama and in no time we got a superb!!! school in Illinois a dream host family and she is thriving there! everybody is delighted sincerely, I get unbelievable letters from her principal. Her boyfriends mother wrote to me thanking me for bringing up such a wonderful young lady! And the boy is the best student of this prestigious high school. So this is just the last big turnaround!

Absolutely true, last year I was occupying a retail space for a computer repair shop... and the business failed terribly after two months, so we decided to vacate the place asap before we got further in debt... funny thing, my former landlord later needed computer repair services one month after we vacated the spot... so now thanks to him I provide repair services to over 15 persons and after paying him about $1400 in rent, he now has paid me over $3800 in services and counting! It wasn´t for this failed business, I would have not met him and the loads of other people he introduced me to do business with them, sometimes bad things dont end up badly, there is also a positive side! |

I can see it. I think in my case it's a way of my higher self saying "this path is now CLOSED--what you want is not down there." It would make sense. If I'm wanting to feel better, things that don't contribute to that should simply fall away, and I should trust that I am going to not only be ok, but be better off BECAUSE they are now gone. In my example, it's basically going to be a new way of life for me. Something I used to do too much that was hurting me, I won't be doing anymore. It's like the right path is actually pulling me towards it. |
