Hi guys, thinking back about all the things I have gotten thru LoA during my lifetime, seems that the method for attracting stuff is to intensely think about something and then forget about it, it happened this way when I got my desired mustang, last week when I desired some peanut butter (read here), etc. Some minutes ago I was just reading this post when this particular text attracted me: "those small stuff where I visualize and then forget seems to ALWAYS come to me" If I remember correctly Christopher Westra in his Holographic creation method describes something like "planting thoughts" and later releasing them into the universe for them to materialize at a later stage, like if they were "cosmic seeds" coming from thoughts, maybe this explains why the "set it and forget it" method seems to be working very good? Your thoughts on this theory |

Gotta watch out for me, tony, I'm a sponge for pop-culture references (though I'm doing my best to wean myself of much of that stuff, too distracting)!

This may be true but you still have to know about it right? Lets say you have a doctors appointment in a month, you think about it and remember it the first day and know you gotta go in a month. You dont totally forget about it, its just in the back of your mind and you know the date is coming and you even think about it from time to time. So to really set it and totally forget about it would be wrong right? Instead you set and expect it, just let it come right? Kinda like if you ordered something off amazon you just know its coming. Am I right on this? It kinda confuses me though also because some people say to do visualization and affirmations everyday, but if you do this then your dwelling on it right? Thanks |

Jack, I know it can sound very contradictory, but.. Well I think it doesn't mean, you know, literally forgetting. It just means, that you shouldn't get obsessed with it and get too attached. Because when you get obsessed, you will begin to feel desperate and anxious, and that is something you don't want, right? By the way, my first post. YAY! |

I agree with this, over the last year I've had several options of a particular type of opportunity present itself to me. I've had unexpected support from friends on this opportunity over and above the usual. So I laughed when I was having a clearout of my handbag last weekend. I found an intention that I wrote over a year ago as part of a 'Think and Grow rich' course that I attended. I had completly forgotten that I wrote this intention - or that it was in the secret pocket in my bag. It asked exactly for that opportunity and I've been carrying the written version around for a year every day. I totally set the intention and forgot about it - and I've had loads of support out of the blue. It didn't happen straight away and it was very subtle at times. I could have done more to make the most of that opportunity but wow - this stuff is freaky!
