Default Do Drugs Sabatoge the Law of Attraction?

Put simply, no. On a high level, nothing inhibits us from attracting what we want.

What stops us from having what we want, is our outlook and our emotions. Many people use drugs to escape from what is going on around them. In this case, yes, drugs are inhibiting attraction.

It's all in how you look at it. If you feel that drugs just are, then you have no real attachment to what they do and who uses them. That is when this question becomes a nonissue. That's a fantastic place to be in.

Drugs can be a great time, I won't deny that. But if you are just using them to escape what is, then you are not going to attract a much better situation. This can be true of anything that you use to escape. One of my big draws is the television. If I sit down in front of it, I probably won't get up for a few hours. Thus, I avoid it. I have one in my home, but ask me how often I use it, and the number of hours will be small.

What are you using to escape what is? Instead of getting away from it, take a different look at it. Why are you thankful for the here and now? What can you learn to take on into the rest of your life?

I've never taken drugs or anything but doesn't that sort of depend on the sort of person who is taking the drugs? If it's a generally positive person and the drug has the ability to enchance his emotions and visualizing ability while mainting a reasonable amount of logic--if such a drug exists then it could reasonably aid in the process.

However, in all likelihood, 99% of drugs don't do that(and again i'm sort of assuming here, i've never taken drugs or really know all that much about them), and thus they will hinder your progress.

Abraham (Jerry and Esther Hicks) actually says something similar to this.

According to them, if you are doing it to feel good, then it's probably going to actually help out in manifesting.

As you probably already know, the better you feel about something, the quicker it will manifest.

Drugs as a general rule are different for everyone. How you feel going into it has a huge effect on how you feel during your high. It's the same as alcohol. If you get drunk while in a crappy mood, you probably aren't going to get out of that mood just because of a substance.

So ask yourself, "How do I feel about this?" and things will just keep getting better!

Drugs just are.

On a moral level of harm to other people, regardless of yourself - there is nothing inherently worse about spending 4 hours tripping on shrooms than there is about hanging out on internet forums for 4 hours.

On the level of harm to your body, that's up to you to decide whether the benefits are worth the risks.

On the level of legalities, the consequences are yours to accept.
