I have been very diligent in doing my 20-grand intention statement, even going so far as saying "the equivalent of" so as to allow for people living in countries that use funny-looking letters for currency

I am so sure that I am starting to feel the $20,000 in these 30 days! let me explain myself: I have a serious backlog of customer projects I need to deliver (Web app programming) but there is no way that I could do all the work I have attracted to me (that is another story I have to share), so last week I posted an ad for some freelancing help (after failing miserably to get proper freelance help 5 months ago) and just after starting this experiment, lots of inquiries kept coming!! So now I have hired 7 people that will help me finish my 3 month backlog in about 2-3 weeks! Anyway something funny and related to this 30 day experiment happened to me: I went to a mall to pay my cell phone and a clothing store bill, I was expecting to pay $40 and $30 according to my calculations... but when I arrived to pay I was informed that I had to pay $28 and $21, not bad!! More money in my pocket!! but oh well, now its when my story gets more interesting. The firefighters here have their annual fundraising sweepstakes and the prize draw will take place in about 18 hrs, so I was walking by past the 2nd prize display, a Nissan Xtrail, I just saw it and ignored it, but then the old guy that was selling tickets was yelling to me and insisting that I should buy a ticket, and I really mean insisting, he was saying stuff like: tomorrow is the sweepstake!!, your last chance! your last chance!! So I ignored him again, I kept walking for like 20 seconds until I stoped suddenly and said to myself: hey!! you are in the 30 day LoA experiment, that truck is worth at least $20,000 and its effortless money like in your affirmation! At that moment I remembered I had actually spared $21 with the lower bills I got asked to pay and immediately turned back, walked and approached the guy telling him very decisively: you know what? give me a ticket! he told me the price was $13, so boy, I still got cash left after buying it! (if I had paid the bills as I expected them, then there would be no money left for the ticket). Now let me tell you that I very very very rarely buy a raffle ticket, but the fact that this guy went practically out of the way to sell me a ticket and me having the free cash to buy it, makes me feel like this is a done deal already. Back to my story: I put my personal data on the ticket and tore it up from the stub, thanked the charming old guy and left only to discover later that the main prize is $75,000 dollars cash!! the X-trail that drew me to participate is actually the 2nd prize!! And when I win the grand prize, he will be getting a Nissan Sentra because he sold the winning ticket to me, thus I think this is starting to fully adhere to what I was requesting along with you: for the greater good of all involved and for $20,000 or more! So in a bad scenario I got the truck valued at around $20,000 and in the best case, I end up with $75,000, not bad huh? I am waiting for the call, anyway I feel if its not from here where I get my $20,000, it could be from anywhere because (from out of nowhere) I am getting a windfall of projects to work on, and the means to develop them in a short time! I already said that for march 2009 I will be driving a new car, and it feels so real! So take care and I will update you on this and which prize I got, the $75,000 or the Xtrail!! And now off I go to sleep and meditate on this happening! Bye! |

tonytiger, good luck with the raffle! Your story about the projects is a great inspiration to me too. Putting it out there and letting the universe respond. To all fellow challenge participants: I'm visualizing more writing and editing projects, and am getting ready to advertise my SEO writing/editing services. Just bought the domain name BestSEOWriter.com ;-) Nothing there yet, but there will be shortly. Also getting ready to advertise salesletter or sales page writing services, which will hopefully bring in enough $ to cover mortgage, COBRA, etc. so I can build my life on freelance writing/copywriting/information marketing, just like I had hoped for. And then my other "leg" which is quite new: coaching. I've got a couple of clients already, and am visualizing several more who will want my help with making it through challenging and/or stressful times and turning them into stepping stones to get to their dreams. I really like the balance of doing two completely different things. I love coaching, plus coaching won't require so much typing, but if I want to do a good job with the coaching, I can't do too much of it either (it does take quite a bit of energy), so doing that writng as well will give me the balance I need. About my own numeric results so far: I'm getting projects where there haven't been any before. I actually got so swamped I felt overwhelmed for a few days, but one page at a time, I made it to the other side. Made more than a grand so far (lots and lots of writing, transcribing, translating (German to English), and the coaching (at introductory rates), so I've got less than 19 to go... And one of the projects came in in an almost miraculous way. Actually all of them did. But that particular one: someone whose list I'm on mentioned that he was selling something to raise funds because a transcription project that he needed done was really expensive. So I sent him an offer and he wrote back, "Done" and I got the project, and even got the money right up front. That was great. And it was an outstanding project to listen to while I was transcribing it too. Yesterday also got a $20 refund check I had all but forgotten about ;-) And I'm working on a project that will bring in a couple of thousand all by itself once it's done, with possibilities for more. And someone bought my ebook on how to sell stuff on Amazon.com Marketplace just yesterday. In fact, I've sold more of that book in the last couple of weeks than I've ever sold of my other ebook that has been out since spring. So something's been happening. And I'm visualizing more. One thing I'd like to achieve is a way to bring in the money with a bit more ease. For a little while my hands actually started to hurt. Thank you 3T, for getting us started with this experiment. Can't wait to see where the next $$$ will be coming from ;-) Last edited by elisabeth; 11-30-2008 at 09:32 PM. |

You know what's funny...i'm came across this site when i was looking for a forum to join..and i came across this one and specifically this thread about the whole 20,000... I declared to manifest 25,000 on Nov.24 within 30 days...lol But i would like to explain where i come from...well my story if you don't mind.. I probably hit a all time low in my life..with life, school, work, money etc.. (20 year old college student)..soo of course i hit depression..until i met someone who introduced me to someone that could possibly help me...his name was Mike Angulo. (google him). I read the Secret before so i was aware of the law attraction but as many other uplifting books i read i didn't really "read" the book. Well anyway, we talked for over an 1 hour and 1/2 and i explained everything to him and he gave me consultation and recommendations on what books to read and the people to look up..mainly Abraham-Hicks. The next day, i took my G1 phone and plugged in my headphones and went on youtube to look for a video of abraham-hicks and began to watch the first video.. Of course i got in comfortable position and gave 100% focus on the video (pretty much released all my worries and fears) and as i began watching the video, my body began to vibrate outrageously..i was freaking out but i kept on watching the video because it made me feel "good". I watched more videos and began to experience the vibrations with every video i watch. I called Mike back and explained my experience and he told me thats exactly what your suppose to feel when your aligned with your soul and he told me to think of good thoughts and things i desire....and from that point on it was a no brainer With no-fear what so ever...i began to control the vibrations of body when i think of good thoughts and increase it dramatically...and with this i requested 10 things i wanted so far to happen to my experience..and i hit 10/10.. and the crazy thing is that it doesn't take more than a day for me to manifest something and when i told mike he thought it was astonishing that i can be able to instant-manifest things in my reality... just a couple of examples... on thursday i asked for 50 on friday so i can go out that weekend..i get an email from bank of america friday morning saying they deposited 80 dollars in my account. 2. i wanted a video camera so i can make youtube videos on friday.. that night my father gave me the exact camera except it wasn't HD (not complaining)..Other things such as meeting people i haven't seen a long time i end up seeing that weekend. So that in a nutshell, is where i am now, i created techniques to allow me to gain the vibrations every time i think of good thoughts and i would be honored to assist anyone if they need help.... it gets to a point that if something is attracting to me out of no where ill start vibrating slightly out of no where without thinking of anything lol. Oh and when i recieve the 25000 im going to donate 5000 for toys for tots so i can help the less fortunate have the Christmas they always wanted |

I'd love to join in - hope I'm not too late. Can you add me to your list, please? Crystal PS Bizarre coincidence, I won an online competition this morning. I have a prize coming to me later this week, but I have NO IDEA what it is or what it's worth. Still, I figure having committed to this (and I did two minutes today to make up for starting late Last edited by cnwoods; 12-02-2008 at 06:13 AM. Reason: new update |

Just take control of your thoughts Jesann. Tell yourself, "My income is constantly increasing" "I prosper wherever I turn" "I am earning (insert amount) per month" "I am rich" "I am wealthy" and really feel it. As first you might feel silly but over time as these new concepts take hold, your life will really change.

I have noticed that negative things tend to manifest very quickly now. On one hand that means I really need to be careful of what I'm feeling. On the other, it means my manifestation skill rocks and just needs to be steered in a more positive direction. "Good things manifest quickly in my life! Good things manifest quickly in my life!"

Jesann, did you try The Work by Katie Byron or EFT or TLT or Ho'noponopono? Something has to help get you unstuck! Good luck!!!

Today I picked up my car from the mechanic, I got a new engine and it was FREE! The car is 2 years old, 90.000 km and it had a little fault concerning oil! It is a 2.200 cc engine on a SUV that cost originally 34.000€! about 44.000 US$. So now it's worth has gone up 25%. with the new motor running like a purrrring cat! So ad at least 5.000€ - about 6.500 US$ to my "score"

I started noticing about 2-3 months ago that negative things, by which I mean if I had been thinking about some issues I've had with housing, or traffic being bad, or the whole hygiene thing from that other thread, etc., then whatever the manifestation is tends to pop up very quickly. So my manifesting is progressing, but it's currently repeating a past pattern of negativity. It's straight out of a belief that good things rarely happen to me, and I've been affirming to change that, because I know they do, I just have to let them in. I did manage to manifest a cat a few months ago (don't ask, and it's not my pet now), so I know that, as my friend says, if I can manifest a cat, I can manifest other things. And yes, I know that the cat had to be looking for a neighborhood to roam as well-- hey, I still managed to manifest that connection. Now I just gotta connect me and more $$. Speaking of which, I may get another work project soon-- a very small one, but it's still work at a time of the year when I normally don't get any from this company. Another one of my intentions is to have a few more channels of prosperity-- work is only one!

I can't say I had the same sort of financial luck with my car this week, although I do love my car-- it started making a weird sound, so I took it in Monday. The mechanics couldn't find the cause-- they said everything was fine. However-- something we've been watching for a while is the tread depth on my tires. We knew it was getting low, and Monday the tread was at 2/32"!! This is the old recommended point for changing tires. The new one is 4/32", so my tires were no longer roadsafe. I had to pay for new tires, but at least my car let me know gently, rather than by having something not so happy occur to let me know! I did get free rotation and balancing for the life of the tires, and one heck of a warranty.
