This is great! I am open to all suggestions! But without the snails please

! What do we do to have a collective intention? Do we visualize the same thing/way - I find it a bit impossible. In Daniel Goleman's book Destructive Emotions they tried to do a MRI of the human brain thinking of a green apple. But when ever they did it the second with the same subject the scientist got a different result. Because of the "untrained brain" the subjects were once thinking of a green apple, then the smell of a green apple, an apple pie and the different part of the brain would be activated... only when they brought in people very experienced in meditation could they get the same part of the brain "light up" when thinking of a green apple.

So as far I can see/read except ALG we can't say that we are this "brainy bunch" that can hold the same intention every time and see the same thing. If you have an idea I will be very happy to take part.

I've been using my own wording since the project began! All I need to know is that I'm focusing on 20 grand coming into my life, that others have my back, and that I have theirs

Do you mean the non-meditator subjects were all thinking of the aspect of a green apple that was most "vivid" to them? I'm not going anywhere near how our brains are responding to this, because I've learned just enough about them to know I know nothing and can predict nothing about how they'll react.

But we can all hold the same general intent, right?

I feel like I'm contradicting what I was saying earlier, not my intent to confuse people-- I'm jes' going' with the conversational flow here.

No the same person can't think of the same aspect over and over again. The associations to something changes due to various things/conditions. Only when you train your brain you can always bring the same picture to your minds eye. But I suppose we can all intentionally bring to us the same feeling of accomplishment every time we think of our experiment!? You know what I mean, the good feeling of nailing it to the spot! Every slimy snail

No, my good marinik, it did not. But in the end I felt the "Secret" was too vague and goody-two-shoes and commercialized anyway, and went in search of more substance. One of the results was to fall in with you merry band of manifesters and would-be-manifesters

I just saw this thread, and I'm already on day five of my manifestation program. What I'm doing is following Abraham's 15 minute of pure breathing/allowing exercise. So far, it's amazing!

I have been out of town so I haven't had a chance to respond. I did unexpectedly (and once expectedly) manifest some money. It is great to see the progress everyone has made.

Elisabeth, thank you for writing it like that. I printed it out and will read it daily. I also went on this forum while out of town and read your affirmation to myself.

I managed to manifest $565 since this started.

What do you plan to do with the 20 grand?

I am going to buy myself an Audi A3 S Line. I love the sound of that engine! Been test driving it for the past 5 days. For the risk of repeating myself I LOVE IT! The 16.000€ will be the down payment.
