 |  words that inspire... hi all........ i have a 'saying' stuck to the dashboard of my car [several, actually]...and it gave me the idea to post here to see what YOU have stuck somewhere, be it in your head, refridgerator, monitor, mirror,ect......... i know this was said by someone recognizable, just not sure who... ''sometimes NOT getting what you want could be a wonderful stroke of luck!"" love it! when i'm feeling wound up about something i think SHOULD be happening, this saying puts me back in my place!!!  what do 'you' use to re-set yourself? |

I have several things posted all over my house... here they are... Are you OK right now? Trying is not doing. Just do it. Fear is False evidence appearing real. Maturity is the ability to express ones own feelings and convictions balanced with the consideration for the thoughts and feelings of others the thankful receiver bears a plentiful harvest Great post. | you're very welcome, 'evergreen'. was it the idea of the post, or that particular saying that you needed? i have LOTS more if needed....he he  i've been coming out of [ i think!]...a serious relational issue for the last 6 months now, and i find myself so darn eager to bring forth what 'memyselfandi' think would help me progress faster, but when i saw that phrase somewhere, i thought, 'geez! that's pretty wild....i have NO IDEA what's transpiring on the other end...for all i know, it really COULD be a wonderful stroke of luck that i DON'T get what i'm seeking!' my ego tends to run amok!! like i was asking in my 'clarity' post.... how exactly do you know how to phrase what it IS that you're seeking?....and how far beyond the initial desire do you need to dig before you settle on an intent? ----lots of helpful tips on that one! yeah, i figure the kind of folks here probably have thier own 'words of wisdom' they refer to... i was curious to hear/read them. i can't be the ONLY fruitcake with thought-provoking sayings displayed in thier environment! |

I have on my computer desk the words; omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. It means that God is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (everywhere). For those into the Law of Attraction this is a good thing to know. You don't have to focus on the "how" things will come to you. Just focus on the "what", as in what you it is you want, and this great all-powerful, all-present, all-pervading power will bring it to you.

i have a mantra, it's one of my brother's lyrics (we're in a band together) it doesn't mean anything particularly inspiring but i remember feeling low the first time i heard the rhymes and the mysticism of the one line made me smile..."In my bar we sell bottled anger, from the spring of the river mantra.." i don't know why i just love it |

This is regarding tithing and it is on a stickie on my computer: "Compared to the seed that he planted in the ground, he will find that which he gets back is a hundred-fold, even more" "The more you plant, the more you reap." So go out and tithe and watch your seeds come back to you multiplied. |

I used to put sayings up, but as much as I liked them they weren't as effective for me as putting up my specific goals. I write one or two words identifying what I want on a 3x5" card, in big letters, with a Sharpie marker, and I stick it somewhere I'm likely to see it several times a day. When I see the card, I focus on that thing for just a few seconds, and imagine what it will be like to have it. I've found it's a really great boost when I'm feeling tired and don't want to do some necessary task or other. It gets me back on track, and reminds me what I'm bringing into my life. So if the task is something that might get me one step closer to manifestation? I do it. And I think, "That's one more thing out of the way," and feel that much closer to my goal. And if the task is something that seems unrelated to what I'm trying to manifest? I think of a way in which it might be related ("If I take out the garbage, I am releasing old energy that does not serve me, and creating space for something better."). So right now I have "San Francisco" and "perfect house" and "design career" and "decluttering" signs on places like my back door, the kitchen window, in my studio, and on my monitor. They've really helped keep me focused on what I want. And if I'm feeling angry or frustrated or unfocused or restless, putting my attention on those reminders makes me feel better and gets me back on track. |

I go with the flow. - I listen to the spirit within and am guided in all I do. On my laptop for when I'm working on my website and blog: - I am creating a strong flow of abundance. I could go on, but I think that's enough for now....! |
