First, I'm new here, but I've been involved in all of this for years, but manifesting intentions are still very tricky for me. I know how, the concept, feels like its happening, know it will happen, etc. but maybe I'm asking for too specific of things. For example, I want to tell you what I'm trying to manifest and what transpired immediately afterward.

I very briefly met a man who I thought was attractive and appeared to be someone I'd be interested in. I thought of him for quite a while as my model, saying him or someone like him. Anyway, a few days later I found out a friend of a friend knew him very well, then another friend had a business meeting with this guy, then another friend of mine said a friend of hers was dating him and then, the real weird thing, my 11 year old daughter told me she had a dream where I was married to this guy who looked like....and she described this guy! (She never saw him or knew about what I was thinking.) She even said I had this diamond ring on that was a different color (I've always wanted a carnary diamond). Now, that was quite a while ago and since then nothing. What do you think? Were those alpha signs and now I'm in the lull? Is the universe trying to produce that same guy, but now he's dating someone so there's a long lull? Since I had those initial signs I was very encouraged but I don't know if I should hang on to that intention since he's currently seeing someone and don't what to become obsessed, but I don't want to not continue if that is what needs to be done. Or has enough energy already been built up that it will continue on its own now. It's really a tricky situation.

I cannot advise what you should do, but I can tell you how I created my intention for my future soulmate.

I wrote down everything I wanted to have in a partner: non-smoker, occasional drinker, non-drug user, and most importantly, have a strong connection to God OR SOMETHING BETTER. I attached that phrase to my intention because I didn't want to limit God's intentions for my life. If I can still have what I wanted, but I always wanted to be open to SOMETHING BETTER!

In six months, I did find my soulmate and got everything I asked for AND more! That was almost three years ago and we're still in love and growing together and learning from each other.

About two years ago, both of my bikes got stolen worth over 2000 dollars (one on friday nd the other on monday). Looking back on it, that sounds like proof of IM to me (I was going through some tough times then). But, on friday I successfully intended to get another bike (I love biking but I hvaen't had one since those were stolen). By successfully intended I mean I was able to detach from it. Anyhoo, today, monday, I was walking out of a building on campus and looked to my left to see one of my bikes (the less expensive one) locked up. My jaw dropped and I stopped walking while the person I was walking with kept walking. I was speechless for a few seconds, which is rare for me. After making a few calls I found out that that I can't get it unless I can show proof of ownership (IE Receipt with serial number matching bike). Eventually the guy who owned it showed up and I talked to him, he told me bought it off craigslist a few years ago, and he promised to give me the contact info of the guy(s) who sold it to him.

Update: I just found my receipt and the serial number matches. IE, I can get the bike back. However, I do feel its a little unfair that the guy who paid money for it only to get cheated loses it, i might give him like a fifty for the bike, with which he could buy another one. We'll see what happens, I'll decide on this in the morning.

The girl I like does a course with me. For asking her out I must have the chance of being the two of us alone. She almost always leaves the building with some female friend (or more than one) she has.

The first day I wanted to ask her out I intended "Yo quiero tener la oportunidad de pedirle a ella hoy salir... etc..."=I want (but the spanish Yo quiero is not the same that the English I want) to have the chance today of asking her out.
And that day happened.
I haven't had any chance again since that day... so I made the same intention mentally again today... and it has happened again... the other girl was like in a hurry or so, so we were alone for a minute.
It has not happened in any of the rest the days (being the two of us alone for a while), just the days I intended it.

And it has happened with the "Yo quiero", not with the "I am" or "I would like", etc.

I intended that she say yes to me too... but it seems the universe has to do quite a few arrangements to get to cause this... At least I've had the chance when I wanted it.

It is great to see that you are manifesting "in the moment" in taking steps towards creating a relationship with this girl. That is part of the art of managing ourselves and keeping our attention and energy focused on where we want it.

When we look at manifesting within the realm of relationships, I think we need to be careful not to focus as much on an individual as on the "ideal relationship". When we try to manifest anothers behaviours toward us it is more manipulation than manifestation.

My suggestion would be to focus your attention on being in the right place, with the right person to develop the perfect relationship.
