I wonder if this site Real Wishes Granted ~ Make A Real Wish Come True ~ Real Wish Comes True ~ Real Wishes Come True is real? the testimonials are real, as I was able to post. I just made a wish, i'd love for other people on this forum to post back their experience on this thread. |

Hooray for 8s!  It's proof of nothing, but for the record I did once carry an 8 around in my wallet, and shortly thereafter had a fun and profitable art-related project 'manifest'. | This is crazy...
For years, the number 8 has been my favorite number. I loved it for the "infinity symbol" aspect. Lately, I've been relating to my boyfriend that I have been seeing 8's pop up almost daily. I'm sitting in the 8th car, in the 8th seat on the train... my daughter is 8 years old, I park my car, and look up and I'm in the 8th aisle...We go bowling, and the entire place is empty, and the guy assigns us lane number 8--stuff like that. We've been noticing them together, actually--though not really thinking of what the significance could be. I never even thought about looking at the meaning of the number 8 until I read this post. WOW! I'm wondering now what the universe has been trying to tell me with the appearance of all of the 8's. I did my wish. Great site. Now I'm totally interested in finding out the connection with the number 8. Awesome stuff! |

It keeps track for you -- it tells you how many days you have to go, except sometimes it doesn't "notice" you've checked in until you refresh. Very amusing -- the ads that come up on that site all relate to what I wished for. |

Haha, this looks like fun. I'll certainly check it out  EDIT: Oh no, I can't see the moon! I've looked everywhere but I can't see it! It seems like I can't charge my 8 card. I wonder if visualization will do... I'll try and visualize myself holding the 8 card up to the moon, letting it's light penetrate the paper..... Oh wait. "If there is little or no Moonlight where you live, hold the paper to the sky for 2 minutes." *hangs out of the window* EDIT 2: Say... Given that this whole IM/LoA thing is legit, I expect the details of the ritual aren't important, but rather having a mess of consciousnesses* all doing the same ritual together forynav: five wishes eh? It amuses me to no end that I got stuck on day 5 for a couple... |

Oh no, I forgot one of the rules! Don't talk with anyone about your wish! Dang. Then again, I think the only danger of that is that people might talk you down, and you start to lose confidence in your wish. Shields up! Quote:

has anyone here "messed up" and forgot to check the website for a day (or 2) or forgot which pants they put the paper in and lost the paper? I went there, and thought, oh, hey, fun! So I wrote an 8 on a paper, put it in my pants pocket and forgot. Then i checked the website 2 days later. It tells me I have to tell 8 people about it, or donate to "reverse" my mess up (of not checking the website). Does this sound a bit, shady to you guys? It seems bit strange that if you don't follow through, the only way to "reverse" or set things right again is to publicize their website or give them money. I may eventually have donated anyway, but now, I'm not too sure. What does everyone else think? |
