| It's true. You would never treat money the way you do if you knew it had feelings. Think about it. Have you ever thought about how you treat your money? I bet you don't treat money the way you treat your friends and family. Here is how most people treat their money. The say things like, 1. It's a means to an end 2. There is never enough of it 3. Having money causes problems 4. Money isn't everything 5. Money doesn't make you happy Would you say those things to your best friend? Of course not. Could you imagine if you told your best friend that they aren't enough? or that they don't make you happy? or that they're a means to an end? They would probably smack you one. After that they would probably leave you for good. Is your money doing the same?

| You can also think of Money as being a person. |
| |||
| You could say this for everything... You car, house, your lawn, the trees, your computer, etc... Thinking of everything as one living entity changes your perspective... Now, if I could only "see it"...

| I think this is a very useful way to think of money. Its such a loaded concept for people, it cause so many automatic reactions that infect one's intentions regarding it. Lately I've noticed that I have bits of money scattered around. I don't even pick it up a lot of times, as if it isn't important, or I don't want it. Well I've stopped that. Now I am treating it with more respect, and guess what, I've got more than I had. Of course it is a gradual shift. But I expect the momentum to build over time. | On the grounds that everything is composed of energy, yes money and lots and lots of other things in theory have feelings too. Somebody else has thought that as well. Investigate the song "Working Man's Dollar" by Chris LeDoux. As to the depths and details I am not 100% sure. I can however site a few personal examples of the theory in which I don't normally share because most people think I'm insane.... #1 My truck I got it new, it was the one nobody else wanted that was tucked away in the back corner of the back lot. Come to find out, it had quite a few tweaks that Chevy didn't want me to know about. I have always treated it with respect, always kept up the maintenance on it, and treated it more like a friend than a pick up. It's gotten 8 more miles per gallon on the highway than it was supposed to ever get, it was a total magnet for attracting the perfect person to me, and the one time in the winter when it hit and ice patch and rolled on it's side....it protected me and the person I care most about in the world by keeping us safe. Neither one of us even got so much as a scratch. The tow truck came and put it back on all 4's and I drove it home with absolutely no mechanical damage. So, yes, I would say that it has feelings all of it's own. #2 my computer I got my computer used from a family member that didn't want it anymore. That person got a new computer and left the other one for dead in the room nobody uses. The reason I got it for free was because it was "junk" and "it wasn't good enough". I took it home, re-installed windows and put a new hard drive in it. I took the time to care about it and give it a new home and even named it "Mr. Puter" and I have not yet had one single problem with it yet. It even works better than the new one they paid almost $3000 for!!! #3. My Ash Body Fender Telecaster Guitar I have always loved classic country music. I love to play guitar but I haven't always had a lot of cash for high dollar items. I've played a lot with different bands in places and mainly employing my own country style in with what ever I was playing. I got the guitar at guitar center for around $350 which was what I could afford at the time. I don't know why, but I played it once and it just had it!! So, I took it too a gig the night I got it and after the first set a guy came up to me and asked me if that was a 52' Telecaster I had. He was a little shocked when I told him I picked it up for $350 bucks and it was brand new. It just had the right feeling to it, no other way around it. It matched mine perfect and it just worked out great. Me playing on that thing in a bar, make ya feel like you're crying your eyes out in your semi truck because your third ex wife left you in the pick up with your dog to catch the midnight train That's just a few of my examples. I would love to hear some other peoples experiences with the idea |

| whtrado04 -- I totally relate. For instance, my car. I love my car. My car and I are best buddies. My car is awesome. It's a '97 Chevy Cavalier I bought new for about $9700. It now has nearly 270,000 miles and we still go everywhere together and it looks just as pretty as it did the day I drove it off the lot. Whenever it needs a repair, it tells me so as conveniently as possible. The most recent was a flat tire a few months ago, which it did in my garage. When the water pump went out, it did it in my garage. When the fuel pump went out, it did so within about 50 feet of a repair shop, while I had two friends with me who could push it over there while I steered. In 2004, I decided to go to an Eagles concert in Peoria, to see them and my beloved Joe Walsh, about a 16-hour round trip. My car had about half as many miles on it then. It was having some radiator issues, and I was a little nervous about driving so far with a car with so many miles on it, so before we left, I sat there talking with it and telling it how much I appreciate it, and that it would be great if we could get to Peoria and back safely. I turned the key, and the Eagles song "In the City" was playing on the radio. One of the only two Eagles songs at that time with Walsh on lead vocals. I spent the weekend in Peoria with friends who live there, got back, lost my mind and decided I had to see the Eagles again. Another friend and I jumped in my Cavalier and drove to Bismarck. This is a 28-hour round trip. I got home and almost instantly had to drive to Madison for my uncle's 80th birthday party. This is a six-hour round trip. On the way back from Madison, we (my Cavalier and I) dodged a tornado, drove through a storm, and stopped at a gas station about an hour from home, and after I got back from the convenience store, I sat there in the car in the pouring rain and realized in all this chasing around, I hadn't thanked the car at all. So, I did. I patted the dashboard and expressed my gratitude and how wonderful it had been to do all this traveling with no problems whatsoever and what a great car it is. I turned the key and "In the City" was playing on the radio. I love my car

| smartile---- that wasn't quite all of the story. The month after I got my used comp and fixed it up, my best friend's aunt decided she want a new one so he got the old one. Now, we've coined the phrase..."DUDE! Your getting a used dell!" moonrambler---- There you go with those meaningful coincidences....my truck is an 04 Silverado 4X4 short box. It was a total hot rod right from the factory. That was what Chevy didn't want me to know about. It's got a V6 thats strong as an ox and sounds like a beast when your start it cold. A friend of mine took it around the block when I took it home that first day. He came back around and looked at me puzzled and said "What do you have in that thing!?!?! A 350 V8!?" I popped the hood and showed him the little V6 that was in it Strange Success with the Law of Attraction and Intention Manifestation - Associated Content I wrote an article about my experiment and findings on that one and the results even shocked me which is not always the easiest thing to do. The car I had before the truck was a favorite of mine too. It was an 86 Crown Victoria. I bought it from a guy who driving it too the junk yard, I offered him 400 cash for it and took it home that day. I named the car Vicky, which was the only time I ever named a vehicle a female name. It had over 200,000 on it when I got it. I did a lot of work to it and had it for another 40,000 after that. I added a lot of parts to it, including straight pipes, high performance ignition, a cd player and speakers and a bunch of other stuff. My ex roommate and I went down to Burger King the one night when they had the car show. I parked it between a pristine 70 Chevelle and 65 Mustang. I got a piece of cardboard out the trunk and sharpie and I wrote on it "214,399 miles and IT RUNS! Can your classic car do THAT!?. Then I popped the hood and hung on it I have always thought cars and stuff had feelings, I just never really openly told anybody my opinion. I've always named the vehicles I spent the most time with even before I was driving. My grandmother's 79 T-bird was "The Thundabird" (she has a North Carolina accent I kinda inherited. ) My dads 78 LTD when I was in elementary school was "the banana boat" and I have to laugh every time I watch Uncle Buck with John Candy because it was almost the same car. We even lived in Indianapolis at the time. The 1985 Chevy Caprice wagon was "The Truckster" #1 because it was almost identical to the one in the National Lampoons vacation movie (and yes it did that run after you turn it off thing) and #2 my father is the psychical incarnate of Clark Griswold My first roommate had a Nissan pickup that we co-named "Pedro" My 2nd roommate and friend to this day got a Toyota Tacoma which I took the "ma" from and named it "The Taco" which it is known as still My best friend friend had a Blazer which he replaced with a a 4X4 Ford Ranger. The one day he was listening to one of my CD's that had the Chuck Berry song "Dear Dad" on it. The one about Henry Ford's son in college trying to get his Dad to get him a new car. He thought that line about "I might as well be walking as to drive this owd foad!" was priceless since it didn't really have the power like my Chevy so it kinda stuck and we named it "The Foad" Thats just a few of my highlights...... Oh and BTW I really like the Eagles too... |

| That was entertaining reading about all the names for your vehicles and the stories that go with them -- for some reason I especially like "The Taco"! I read your AC experience there with the brakes and that was seriously weird-cool. Richard Bach writes about how a pilot can have relationships with airplanes too. It made total sense to me.
