[This thread is related to the post level 2 gratitude.] I've been working with LoA for about 1.5 years at this point and have made some amazing progress in my life. I've worked thru lots of books- and have learned a ton! It started with The Secret, and then moved deeper with other authors like Haanel, Wattles, Abraham-Hicks, Gawain, etc. I also love Steve's site, just the level of depth he goes into on so many different topics, and offers so many new perspectives. I've become so much better on so many levels- in relationships, personal development, perspective on life in general. One area I'd like to see more progress in, and the one that initially lead me to LoA, is financial abundance. About 2 months ago, I decided that, rather than continuing to look for that one perfect book/program that would change my life forever, I would just feed myself something every single day. I checked out an armload of books, downloaded cds to my ipod, and committed to working thru programs like Tony Robbins' Personal Power. Not only just feeding myself this stuff- but really working to integrate it, committing to it. I gave myself a month as a trial, and, of course, got hooked, and have continued with the practice. I'm seeing some amazing synchronicity in my daily life, and feel like I'm emotionally more stable and connected and focused than I've ever been in my whole life. While I haven't yet manifested the financial abundance I'm looking for, I am feeling better about financial abundance all the time- and I know with practice and commitment, I'll figure out the best system for me to manifest that bit too One of Steve's articles that I read really inspired me to change the way I think- it's about adapting one's idea of gratitude, to a more holistic and complete sense of gratitude, rather than the more basic, material-focused one that I had before. In relation to LoA, integrating this type of gratitude has borne amazing results, and I was realizing today that it can be applied to financial abundance as well. I do tend to get confused when different experts offer differing opinions on how to manifest abundance, and I think my results in this area reflect that. I also think I would do better to consult my inner knowing about how best to feel some money into existence, rather than looking outside. But I really think applying level 2 gratitude to one's financial situation would be a huge step in the right direction. Rather than inwardly complaining/ blaming about not having the money I've requested, I am making a point to be thankful for where I am right now, and how much I've learned, and will continue to learn upon this journey I'd love to hear others' thoughts! Be blessed, Angela |
