This is a game where I thought it would be fun to "be" - right here in this thread, who you hope to be in the year 13. The object of the game is to state who you'll be in terms of everything. If we do it right, then in twentythirteen we ought to be able to look back and see that we have, in fact, become who we said we would. So, if you were Steve, for example, you'd be an indie game industry guy ( if we'd started this thread in 2003). So if we were playing this 5 yrs ago he'd say something like " 5 yrs from now I will be a Best Selling Author. I regularly get quoted in New York Times, USA Today, and U.S. News and World Report. I get paid thousands of dollars to speak. I get so many business offers that I have to turn most of them down." Get it? Go!

| I will be a highly paid consultant/coach/public speaker. I will work when I want to. Live on a "sala"/ranch on near my home town in my dream house with my man. Travel my as much as it feels good and have regular long holidays in unbelievable beautiful places on this planet.

I've mostly been concentrating on where I want to be 12 months from now. But for this game I'm going to throw caution to the wind and state my ultimate desires of where I want to be in 5 years. I will be completely debt free with enough income each month to meet all my bills and be able to pay treble my monthly mortage payments so that I can get it paid off early. I will be self employed and working from home as a computer builder/repairer/upgrader. I will be a successful ebay trader with a monthly profit which is enough to pay all my bills. I will be helping my wife in running her martial arts school which she runs full time from her own Dojang. thus helping her to fulfill her life's ambition (one of them anyway!!) Above all I will be happy and free from the tyranny of being a wage slave. I will be able to dictate my own working hours and only have myself to answer to when it comes to income generation.

I've experienced a future life progression session and have been 5 and 10 years into my future. It felt so real, I am going back for another session. I want to be with my wife and kids again - who do not exist for me yet.

in 2013, I am happily married, with 2 more kids. I am financially well off and living in my dream home. My family and I have a great relationship, including my in laws. I am at my ideal weight. I work from home, doing foreign exchange, I also volunteer a few hours a week. And I have more than a handful of good friends

Ooh, fun! And I just wrote my 5-year goals down today, too. How synchronous. Except they're not 5-year goals after all, they are 4-year goals - 2012 - to do before I'm 30! So. By the end of 2012, I will be: - A self-employed professional writer, earning at least £25k a year in royalties and appearances, - In a stable, loving, supportive relationship with a wonderful man, and - Living in a house I love. Looks like I have a lot of work to do. And, you know, I am really looking forward to it all!
