Money Affirmation vs Million Dollar Experiment

Hi

I set a goal a few months ago to earn $100,000 within the next year and have been affirming this every day. However, I also have been intending $1M to come into my life--per Steve's Million Dollar experiment--this past month. Is it alright to be intending these two amounts concurrently? Or should I make them both the same figure? The way I look at it--the 100K is what I am affirming to earn through job/financial ventures, whereas it's open for however the $1M manifests.

I see no problem in intending both. They seem conflicting, but they really aren't. Think of that $100K next year as a road to that million. Maybe you will save $50k of those $100k and invest it, making a cool million in a few years.

My money intentions are split into chunks. The million dollar one is at the top then I have smaller ones underneath it. Sounds like yours...

That's the method I use most frequently. 2 different amounts! I use one as more of the end result and one as the "means".

Also, seriously, it makes my life somewhat more exciting. I am currently manifesting $150,000 from my clientele this year....and another $500,000 within the next few years from unseen sources (maybe a seminar deal, a book deal, something good!

You have to be careful about what you wish for.

At a recent time in my life, I sent out assorted intentions on career, money and further education.

Now my opportunities are manifesting quite rapidly and I'm really getting pretty confused. The practical reality is that there are only so many things one can do at the same time. This year and next year, I was forced and will be forced to choose between:

(1) going to do my Masters on a fully funded scholarship;

(2) taking up a new job with the future opportunity to build and head a team/department of my own;

(3) taking up a new job which will be extremely high-earning (in investment banking) but lacks the opportunity found in (2).

Tough choices ......

Thank you Annie and Acting Like Godot! I'm happy that what I'm doing is being validated. And it didn't really occur to me that the two intentions could get merged somehow.

This is all so very excited for me---an LoA newbie My life has done a '180' since I learned about LoA and IM a few months ago. I have big goals and dreams but I am focusing and appreciating the little things as well. For instance, I intended to get at least a few replies to my question and am grateful for all who responded.

I feel I've come so far in such a short time. I was unemployed for 8 months and then moved to Massachusetts 2 months ago essentially homeless. I intended a job before I arrived and had one the next day....they even offered me the job before the interview was over! I had to sleep in my van for two nights but ended up finding the perfect place to live, as it was a private studio and they didn't require a deposit, which I wouldn't have been able to cover. This happened a few days after I got the job. The studio apt. didn't have a refrigerator but I then intended that and found a full-size refrigerator for free that someone was giving away on the day I moved in

Since then I've been receiving all sorts of little blessings. I received over $250 in credits for late fees on my credit cards, I won an IPod Shuffle at work, someone loaned me $2 at work so I could get some lunch but insisted that I not pay it back, I received a copy of "The Secret" DVD for free (which I've been wanting the last 2 months) and I've been finding loose change (including a nickel that just fell out of a t-shirt last night from absolutely nowhere). These are just a few items. I guess it's all due to having a more abundant mindset. And being grateful really helps too
