Default Watch for unusual solutions

I've been doing some Intending (with a capital I, mind you) every day for the past week or so, and I've noticed some interesting things.

One thing in particular: be really conscious of anything "new" that comes to you; not just anything out of the ordinary, but things in your ordinary circumstances that happen without any effort from you.

For instance, I've been doing some intending for some financial abundance in a business I co-own, and very quickly after I started this intention, one of my colleagues sent me an e-mail with a new idea.

Basically his idea was a way for me to bring in some extra money into the business; I haven't put it into effect yet, but I have little doubt that his idea is a sound one and that I should pursue it.

New ideas from my other co-owners isn't terribly out of the ordinary; however I think this might fall under the "alpha" manifestation in some way.

What's interesting in his e-mail is that it showed he was thinking about me and my ability to bring in extra money.

Law of Attraction can work in small coincidences maybe. Wonder where he got that idea...

So while your intention might not manifest right away, watch the signs that the whole story is unfolding. Just because you haven't read the end yet doesn't mean you're not in Chapter 1 or 2.

Another thing I've noticed? As I intend more, I'm getting way more interested in learning about intentions and strategies, and the information is suddenly consolidating in my mind, a sort of "unified field theory" of my own that links sources I've been reading for years, like the Secret, Think and Grow Rich, Master Key System, etc...

Since I'm not terribly experienced in manifesting (I have a few success stories though), perhaps the improvement really is what I need.

My advice is, watch for small changes, even if they don't seem totally relevant to your goals.

Talking A plan!!!! I got one!!!

Agoge, I have been doing this for 3 years now, manifested great tings into my life – lot more to come. Still consider myself to be an apprentice. So much to learn and master. Really a huge “bundle” there, so much knowledge and skill.

I can see how excited you are in recognizing all the synchronicities happening around you. I, and suppose everybody else here, is cheering for you.

English is not my native language so please forgive my not being precise enough at times.

I have been manifesting a career change for some time now. I had many doubts and worries. Financial mostly but also the fact that life would change in a big way for my family. I have a very good job I hate that brings a substantial sum every month.

My intention are written on a wish black board for months now. It came together in one moment! I had a plan, all of a sudden, and it was there all the time – how to generate passive income, a support system – I met a wonderful friend here on this Forum who is going through the SAME thing. How to adjust my whole life to what I wanted and how I wanted it.

So Agoge keep looking for all the small things happening and enjoy!

Right, like I said to some degree there might be a feeling - even right away after you start your intentions - that even if you're far from the end of the story, at least the story started unfolding. That's a good perspective that will keep you persistent and maintaining faith.

Update: I received an e-mail today that contained a link to a video that basically told me to do something I had been thinking about doing anyway. I think I'll start doing it.

When I looked at the e-mail, the subject line seemed to light up like it was on fire. Think this stuff works?

haven't reached that point, but I've noticed I'm now making business decisions a lot more firmly and confidently than some of the people I work with

Your experience is really interesting to me because I've just very recently started playing with the idea of looking at coincidences and synchronicity as opportunities to act on, as signs from the universe in regard to an action I might take. Typically I've looked at these events as "yes" signals, or simply as fun and positive episodes, but this recent way of looking at things is different for me in interpreting something I could do in response to the coincidence.

Because of this, I've become more alert in watching for coincidences which could signal opportunities. It makes me realize how much I may pass by on a continuous basis simply because I casually dismiss it or don't look at it in this manner. Brian Tracy and other motivational authors/speakers talk about this all the time, how the law of attraction will bring synchronicities into our lives that we can act on . . . but I really think almost everyone is oblivious to these synchronicities almost all the time.

In the book I was recently reading by Jerrold Mundis, he tells a story of the problems he was having making the amount of money he wanted to, and at the time he specialized in writing about clearing up writer's block and holding workshops on this subject. One day he was offered an afternoon workshop with staff writers of a large professional association to assist them in burnout and staleness caused by having to write about the same topics over and over. They would pay him $1,250. Jerrold was really bummed because he figured he didn't qualify to teach this session.

I like the way he describes his sudden insight: "I was about to express my regrets and thank her for the call and tell her I hoped she could find an answer somewhere, when -- with the force of a hammer blow, nearly taking my breath away, and causing the hand in which I held the phone to begin sweating -- I was struck by the realization . . . that I was about to turn down $1,250."

This makes sense. It's tempting to, right away, look for ANY coincidence and reason that the coincidence must be the result of the law of attraction. I typically find that if you have to ask, though, maybe it's not.

For example, I usually discover after the fact that these weird coincidences are leading me to my manifestation. The e-mail I received had a subject line that just screamed "OPEN ME!" (not literally), and it wasn't until I looked at the page itself that I went, "huh."

Haha, that's so true.

I think it's important to let go of the HOW (provided our "how" is still a moral how).

I also received an e-mail from a coworker (I think I mentioned this in the OP) that suggested a moneymaking idea for me, and it could have been easy to say "ha, no, that's not how this money will manifest" as if I expect it to just show up in the mailbox.

Unless of course if I intented for it to actually just show up in the mailbox...
