Default Attracting better relationships with co-workers

Hi all, this is my first post here. I'm excited to share some of my experiences with you and get some good debate going! I wanted to share some of my best knowledge right off the bat.

How I Manifested Better Relationships with Co-workers

There are two instances when this happened. I'll go through each.

1. When I first arrived at my new job, there was a sales guy who was really obnoxious. He seemed to make obnoxious remarks to everyone there - nothing really all that bad, but his personality certainly didn't mesh with mine.

Needless to say, in the first few weeks at the job, he really didn't make it that good of an experience. Already being aware of the LoA and affirmations, I decided - hey, why not try it? It could only help, right?

Here is what my affirmation consisted of:
  • I would generally take a deep breath as I...
  • said to myself "the universe has the solution for both of us and I wish him the best."
  • with maybe a little unconscious visualization of good colors or nice images. Didn't really try, though.
  • Did this frequently throughout the day, whenever I noticed myself having a resisting thought to this co-worker

Again - notice I didn't really make my affirmation specific (though it certainly would help to do that). The most important thing was feeling good - and feeling like everything was already settled. If the affirmation didn't make me feel relaxed and that the solution was already here, I'd repeat it.

Once I did that, I'd go about my day.

Within a few days, the problems disappeared. So much, in fact, that I sort of stopped doing it because there wasn't a point. He didn't seem to be around the office as much, and we definitely didn't have problems anymore.

Then, abruptly, the next week, he stopped showing up completely. I wondered if I was just lucky, but it turned out that he had actually quit. Poof - just like that, within about two weeks.

What's interesting is, after this happened, I hadn't really felt the need for affirmations as much. By the time he quit, I had forgotten about them! That's how well it worked.

Then, of course, I realized that I had used those affirmations, and had that "hmm.." moment.

2. Same sort of situation, this was some months later. A new guy seemed to show up to take this new guy's place; he was kind of obnoxious too.

I started doing the affirmations again, in the same process described above. Notice that the affirmations were meant for both of our good. I did these affirmations silently to myself throughout the work day, any time I thought about it.

Within a few days, the problems disappeared, again. This time, however, the co-worker stayed around.

In the end, what happened? We ended up having a great working relationship and he got promoted. Ha! I guess I really did "wish him the best." Two different solutions, two different people.

Did I do anything consciously, other than the affirmations? Nope. Maybe I acted nicer toward them - but that felt natural and automatic.

Anyways, that's just a quick rundown of some of the success I've experienced with the LoA. If anyone had any similar stories it'd be great if you shared them.

Thanks for sharing. I like seeing stories of how things that should be "set in stone" really aren't.

Yes I find if I remove the resisting/negative thoughts things tend to turn out alright.

Default Thanks WOW

Agoge I will try this on Monday!!! I have a few "patients" around. I have to teach this to my staff too. We are a "foreign" firm and the "foreigners" behave as they were of a higher race. They admit that they have never seen so many highly educated people (they have no formal education) with so much knowledge and experience willing to give their best (they admit when they are drunk, oh so drunk) and then they treat us so badly that we get demoralized. And because they change every 3-4 years the circle starts all over again.
