Default Does LOA work if you are out of balance in your life?

Is it important to be balanced in all areas of your life for the Law of Attraction to successfully work? For instance if you have a strong desire to be financially successful and are able to focus energetic thoughts, feelings and action in that area of your life, yet at the same time have thoughts and feelings of frustration, anger or un forgiveness towards yourself or others or any destructive thoughts/feelings that bind or hinder you in some way, will LOA work in a specific area of your life while the rest of your life is in some form of chaos?

I think you know the answer to this yourself. Many people have areas of their life that are great, and others that are less than great. A very succesful person with a job that she loves and that she makes greate money from might also have destructive habits like drug-abuse. You may love your friend sometimes, and sometimes feel that he is a big jerk. The LoA works all the time, for good or worse. How every part of your life is now, is because of the LoA. no exceptions...

Thanks for your response Elrond. Perhaps the answer is the same as you posted but I'd like to phrase my original question a different way because I am not sure I fully explained what I was getting at.

Some people use unsavery means to acquire what they want. A person can be mean spirited, manipulative and not care about hurting other people on their road to success yet become very successful. Most talk concerning LOA that I've read talks about having a positive upbeat attitude in the process of attracting unto themselves and the importance of giving back in a way that is helpful to others but some people go about it with a negative uncaring attitude towards others and still are able to receive what they desire. So it made me wonder about LOA in circumstances such as that.

I understand your confusion, SaraLee.

As Elrond said, the Law of Attraction is always at work (that's why we call it a "law")--whether one is atttracting "positive" or "negative" stuff. Th LoA says whatever we give our attention to, we attract. The amount of resistance we offer to that attention determines how quickly it shows up.

Another reason we call it a law is that it works without judgement. It doesn't matter if it's something "good" or "bad" for you, whether one is a "good" or "bad" person or even if one "deserves" it or not. It works--every time. (I like to call this the "Amazon effect:" when I order a book from Amazon.com, I have every confidence that it will arrive and it does. No resistance, no judgement, no doubts and, voila, manifestation. Most of us have learned that The Universe works differently so we typically have to overcome much more pre-programmed resistance than with a book order.)

Some people may be so focused on attracting millions of dollar or cancer that they offer no resistance to that thought. And SOME of those people with such clarity of focus resort to unsavory behaviors as they manifest their intentions. (But there are many others who have manifested fortunes without resorting to those kinds of behaviors.)

The positive attitude recommendations as method of working the the LoA are a tool to help one recognize when they are losing their clarity of focus, when they are offering resistance or to align with their "greatest good," "Source energy," whatever-you-like-to-call. It's a tool that, for many people, makes working with the LoA more effective and more fun as well as having many other side benefits.

I hope that helps.

Simply said: The law of attraction ALWAYS works. As long as your doubts aren't opposed to the goals you want to achieve NOW, don't worry.

If your frustration counters your wish, you won't achieve your goal.

Hi SaraLee. I thought I would contribute my input.

At first I started to write a response, then I thought it would be more appropriate and beneficial to you if I responded with a queston,

What is it that you want to attract?

Let us know and "we" may be able to assist you. When I say "we", I also mean other experts in the forum.

Cheers,
