I CAN heal myself I CAN achieve Christ consciousness I CAN attract more spendable cash into my life I CAN go beyond ordinary levels of consciousness I CAN develop healing abilities to heal others I CAN laugh everyday until it hurts I CAN lift others spirits up I CAN create miracles I CAN make conscious contact with a higher plane of existence I CAN give hope and love to myself and others I JUST KNOW IT...! There is no doubt about it...

| Joy Happiness Abundance Health My house has a firm foundation made out of pure health. The supportive walls are made from happiness the quite kind. Abundance is flowing through and out of every door and window of my beautiful house. The roof of my house is a joyful roof. Skipping and laughing. It has a huge smile. My house is a very happy place. I live in it.

| Imagination I am grateful for my imagination. I am grateful that I can see so many amazing possibilities in my mind without having to physically experience them. I am grateful that I can create whole worlds when I want to. I am grateful for all of the characters that have come and gone within my imagination. I am grateful that my imagination keeps my mind open, supple and flexible. I love that my imagination has allowed me to write songs, incarnate characters from plays, communicate ideas to others in creative ways, and sometimes see what others cannot. I am grateful for my imagination, for without it, there’d be no vision, and as the good book says, “without vision, the people perish.” If I can see it, then I can do it… If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it! |

| My people I love people! (I've come a long way from my "I hate humanity" days!  )I am grateful that I work with people that I genuinely like. I am grateful for all of the laughs I had today. I am grateful for friends to share those laughs with. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to make peace with my father before either one of us passed on. I am grateful for my mother’s fierce love. I am grateful for having such a powerful teacher in my little sister. I highly respect my young niece’s strength and courage. I am in frank awe of my 6 year old nephew’s almost endless energy. And of course, I am grateful for all of you!!! Quote:

| My People, part deux I am grateful for the “negative” people in my life. I am grateful for the ones that pushed my “don’t talk to me that way” button. I am grateful for all the “know it alls” that “made” me feel defensive. I am grateful for the ones that I believed were sapping my energy right out of me. I am grateful for the so called “closed minded” folk. I am grateful for those friends of mine who “force” me to be sarcastic right along with them. As I’ve already mentioned in a previous gratitude post, I am grateful for family members who “dragged” me into their drama. I am grateful for all the people who have allowed me to watch as they visited violence of all kinds upon each other. I am grateful for all of these people and so many others because they turned out to be my most important teachers, besides myself. They all, without exception, showed me where I was lying to myself. They all showed me how I was creating my own suffering. Inadvertently, they all showed me the path to freedom. Those people, in their way, were more valuable to me than all of the self help, religious guru types put together! I thank them all!!! |

 Superheroes ROCK!!! I love that Heroes television show. It’s a geek’s dream come true! I love Batman. He’s my favorite superhero because he’s self made and I respect that. And the Dark Knight rocked! I love Spiderman. He provides such witty repartee as he kicks the villain’s arses. I love Superman. Is he not the ultimate symbol of truth, justice, power and the “American” way? I love Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man. I used to love Wonder Woman. Linda Carter was perfect back in the day. I love the X-Men and I found Alan Moore’s Watchmen to be pretty intriguing too. Some also rans include but would not necessarily be limited to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Neo from the Matrix trilogy, the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman, and Zorro. I love living in a world where the imagination can create such wonderful fantasies! This universe is such an amazingly awesome place!!! Who knew? |

| As human beings imagine, they also create. Each life experience gives me reason to feel grateful. It can seem easier to reflect back and understand why you have made certain choices after you make them. Yet, as you evolve to sense deeper meaning in choices at the same moment you make them, this reminds you that every thought, word and deed is a teacher with many levels. |

| Equality I love that we are all equal. I love that I am no better or worse than anyone anywhere. I love that any standard that I might use to think of myself as better than someone else is false. I love that any measure that I might use as a way of putting myself down is false. I love seeing past myself. Who’s the I who’s doing all this loving? Who knows? Who cares?!? It’s fantastic!!! |

| Grocery Stores I love grocery stores. I love all of the variety. Who knew there were so many brands of toothpaste? I love the vibe of abundance I get as I walk through the long aisles. I always get a little jolt of positive energy when I’m polite to my fellow shoppers. I love that I have the money to buy any kind of food I want! What a huge blessing! I’m so pleased that I don’t have to actually hunt and gather to feed myself. Most of all, I love that I always have enough to eat. It’s not something everyone in the world can say and I do not take it for granted. |

| I love clarity! I am so grateful I found this place! I just read through the “What if what you love to do makes no money” thread and came across Steve’s posts there. They were precisely what I needed to hear tonight. I was reminded that strategy is one of my strengths and it is high time I make more use of it NOW!  Grateful for surprises! Today was my first conscious contact with my spirit guide. I had a few synchronicities occur at work today which lead me to the realization that I’d been speaking to a spirit guide for years without knowing it. To be quite honest, this scared me at first. I read the “Spirit Guide or Imagination” thread started by Gyathri back in May and it helped me to make sense of some past experiences. When I got home, I made contact with him. We had a brief conversation. It was a good beginning. I’m kind of in the “ye gads, this is all really real” phase at this moment. I am grateful for this forum again because it has been most helpful in framing my experiences in a way that resonates with me. I am grateful for all of the intelligent, insightful and compassionate people who have shared their questions and their journeys here. I wonder if they all have any idea how many people they might be of help to just by asking questions and being part of conversations and debates. And I am grateful to you Ty for sticking with me until I was ready to acknowledge you. I am grateful for unexpected turns of events. Life really is full of surprises! |

| All things come to an end I am grateful that I am alive. I am grateful that I lived through the last 30 days, in safety, comfort and peace. I am grateful that I have always had enough. I am grateful that I can want more while appreciating what I have. I am grateful to Lil Chris for starting this thread. I am grateful that I wrote a post on this thread every day for the last month. I am very pleased to know that doing this exercise has more than likely cemented my default emotional set point on the positive side of the scale. I am glad that I get to write this last gratitude post. As far as I am concerned, gratitude is the premier self help technique for living a life of joy no matter what. It is so simple, so easy and yet so transformative! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!! |
