Default Breakthrough - this may help you, too!

I had been asking and hoping for clarification on how to manifest abundance into my life, namely financial, and earlier this evening the answer came.

Figured I would share with you all since you've been so helpful

I was skimming through part of 'Tomorrow's God' at the bookstore earlier tonight, also looking for some Christmas gift inspiration, and this one phrase really struck me as useful.

I don't have the exact quote, but to paraphrase: 'You cannot multiply something you have none of; you can only multiply something you have already. You already have everything...'

In mathematics, this makes perfect sense:

0 x 3 = 0

0 x 4 = 0

0 x 1,000,000 = 0

In intention-manifestation, it makes sense, too. You can't manifest something you have none of. You can't manifest something you NEED -- because in reality we have everything we need already (life, oxygen, enough food)

The rest is just a matter of WANTING something and manifesting it.

So, if you only have $5 in your wallet, take those five bills out, really look at them and say 'I have money already, I would just like more of it.'

This way, you're asking for something you already have so there's much less of a belief barrier to cross. You're not asking to find a unicorn in your garage; you're asking for greater quantity of an item your mind is totally familiar with.

Hope this helps -- maybe you can use this outlook when participating in Steve's $1mln. experiment. I know I will!

Definitely true Dave, I like how you explained it mathematically too - very cool analogy.

I'm ecstatic to hear you're starting to break through with an abundance mindset, get ready for your life to be blessed buddy

Thanks Dave, that's another way for me to put it.

I find the more I focus on what I have in my life, the more that grows for me. Also, I feel less desperation for something because I can personally generate the emotional payoff of having something.

This to me is kind of like the flip side of saying "if you're not happy with what you have, how will you be happy with what you get?"

Thanks,
Colm

Ha! I have a million dollar bill right here. And if anyone wants to top that, I'll just keep adding zeroes to it.

Nicely written Dave.

I understood that interpretation so well, I'll apply it as soon as I can!

You could also think of Law of Attraction as a single seed.

By planting one seed (intention) you soon have a plant that then flowers and produces many seeds. Which you can then plant as well, multiplying the effect as you grow more ambitious.

Intend and grow. Heh.

Personal development products are there to get you to finally realize nothing will happen out of thin air and hopefully provide you tools that will make you more productive. You gotta get going, do the work and reap the rewards.

Step 1 is imagination (IM, LoA, etc). You gotta picture something in your head and believe it can be brought into "reality".

Step 2 is to acquire the knowledge to make real what is in your imagination. This is where people get stuck. You gotta do the work. You gotta work hard and smart. (When people say work lazy, they really mean work smart.)

Step 3 is to enjoy the manifestation of your dream.

Once you learn this cycle, wasting any more time on personal development is just that.. A waste of time..

Even the people in the Secret DVD didn't sit on their butts and make money. For example, they had to write a book and sell it.

So... my point? David, what you said may or may not be true.. Do you have everything? Answer the following 3 questions:

1) Do you have a dream?
2) Do you have the knowledge to bring this dream into reality?
3) Do you have the passion to apply the knowledge to make your dream happen?

That's it.

In my opinion, discussing how LoA works, and how it can manifest stuff for you out of thin air is futile. LoA gets going once you answer the 3 questions above and get going...

Best of luck

p.s. Steve's "making money consciously" piece is great. It is rather long, but the point is that you need others to realize your dreams. In fact, the easiest way to create wealth is to help others fulfill their dreams.

That's a really good one. Which is why The secret movie says to start by focusing/intending by being gratful for what you have, and more of that, if that's what makes good feelings in you, then you get more of it. Really good post!

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the ones that can have the most profound effects.

Thanks for sharing this epiphany Dave!
