Default starting out small

I'm new to the forum and very interested in the intention-manifestation part of it.

Today, I focused on just one small intention--to have a good day. Whenever negativity (mine or someone else's) slipped in, I reminded myself that I intended to have a good day. And so far, with only a few hours left, I have succeeded. (I guess if it was really my intention, I wouldn't have added "so far" to that sentence. I would know I was going to have a good day.)

I've got a lot to learn.

It's hard to undo a lifetime of convincing yourself that you deserve the bad things that happen to you and that you don't deserve harmony or peace of mind.

Baby steps.

Your attitude about life definitely determines what you get from it. It makes sense that you would manifest what you focus on the most, even if it's negative.

Your subconscious mind doesn't see things in "positive" or "negative". When you make a statement like "why am I always frustrated?" your subconscious only hears "I'm frustrated" and you operate from that cue.

It does take some time and practice to change your thought process, but it gets easier and is well worth the effort. Keep at it, and best wishes.

Default right on

Gratitude is the first thing you need to learn. Be grateful to the fact you’re alive, breathing, healthy , you’re well off, you can read, write and an endless list of thing you were blessed with. Do it everyday and you’ll see the difference immediately.

Believe it or not but trying to manifest "To have a good day" was actually a BIG thing you just did.

You managed to NOT get hit by a plane, get into a huge fight with someone/meet up with an ex, lose your job, get shot at, etc...

Things could have been worse at any moment. Who's to say this wasn't going to be the day you were supposed to be hit by a car. But you fought all that, are feeling great, and you call it a SMALL manifestation?

Keep it up!
