Hi all! I've been devoted to Abraham-Hicks and creating your own reality for about 4 years, using the LOA etc. Lately I've been wanting to get my act together even more, getting rid of resistance, fears etc and really focusing on my intentions and what I want. I'm setting a lot of time for this during the day, but afterwards I'm always exhausted, after visualizing etc I fall asleep sometimes because I can't stay awake. My question is, why is this? Am I overdoing it? I'm really trying to feel how my goal feels, and apperently it takes a huge amount of energy for me to do it so I pass out afterwards. What shall I do? Why am I so tired afterwards? jah bless |

Anyway, what Abraham always says is that "you make too much of all of this". In other words, you need to chill out. The way to know if your overdoing it is to listen to your emotions (EGS). If you feel bad, just do something different. Often doing something other than focusing on your goals is very beneficial. Abraham says that you must allow, and that means to think thoughts or do things that makes you feel good. If you feel like your overdoing it, your overdoing it. If you feel like you should rest, rest. If you feel like your spending too much of your time on this, spend less time with it. Try to feel as good and non-judgemental about the choice you make. | |

This doesn't sound like fun! If it exhausts you, it appears that you think that for anything to happen, it has to be hard work. If that's what you believe, that will be your reality, and you will feel exhausted afterwards. From what I understand, it isn't that way. You don't have to spend a long time on intending. Simply believe. Work through some of the processes in Ask and It is given, Abraham-Hicks. Some of those are fun, and make allowing so much easier. If it doesn't feel good, you shouldn't do it. Try something different. |
