Default Beginners Luck

I have been thinking about the term beginners luck that people often use, I went to the horse races for the first time with my father during the summer, and on my first bet I won.

This has happened quite a few times where I start doing well at something i've just begun at, particulary through things that involve chance such as card playing. But i'm thinking that the beginners luck is only because of your own minds general lack of the possibilities of losing, I think once you get to know the rules and strategy of a game your conscious mind communicates to your subconscious mind the chances of failing or losing are greater, and therefore you attract the loss and failure. What does anyone else think of this?

I'd recommend that you quit now because on the long run you will lose more than you win on betting!

Wanna bet?

I don't know how to explain beginners luck, but i know that if you learn how to bet you can earn some money on the long run. Betting is helping me to live on college. I'm not living only of betting, but it improves my life standard a lot.

Suzuki Roshi said, "In the beginner's mind, there are many possibilities; in the expert's, there are only a few."

We must approach everything with a beginner's mind, because in the beginner's mind anything is possible. Once it has happened, the mind thinks, "But how will it happen again?" It is a beginner's mind no longer.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." The child does not know what will or will not happen, so anything may. The adult says, "This is not likely," and so it is not.

Now if only you could see there is so much more you can manifest than a few bucks at the track.

Excellent I think that pretty much answers it! this seems so simple but yet so hard to apply, just how do we keep this child like mind?

I think we can recapture our the mind of the child within us. We know how we thought as we did when a child. We were so vastly open, and accepting of what was happening, and we easily saw the miracle in all things.

Perhaps if we can remember, we can start to play with life, and explore as we did with the openess of a child.

Play. They call it so easy, by referring to it as, "Childs Play".
