ive read about the physical body change through subconscious mindsetting & hypnosis.. i am convinced that the body is really energy & the cells change everyday what im having much difficulty is believing completely. i recently am starting (im new to this). even though this theory of the subconscious makes sense, there still are certain doubts & uncertainty coming to my mind! i desire change, yet evryday i still somewhat expect the same current image of me to be there (i.e skin condition, other external features). im so used to looking like this (and i am greatly displeased) that i just naturaly still somewhat expect myself to look like this, even though im trying hard to convince myself of a different body. every thought of mine counts, so im struggling here! what could i possibly do do elimniate all potenital doubts about this? this change means a lot to me & i really feel the urge to change. i realize the body's response will be an easy journey, but believing is the hard part! what can i do to greatly increase my motivation & desire for this? how can i train myself to fully believe this can happen. the truth is, i focusing on featrues of someone else, so part of my thoughts automatically register those external featers are "foreign" which belong to someone else....how can i CONVINCE MY THOUGHTS that those features are MINE; that this particular image of my desired body IS ME? (now i know why this is hard) of course, support from other peers in my life wont do since they would never believe in such thing (they'd say its impossible) would hypnosis do the trick? self-hypnosis? ANYTHING i need help badly! thank you!!!!! Last edited by bmlyeryk : 06-25-2008 at 01:05 AM. Reason: no one has an answer for this?

Appreciation, gratitude and self-love are the ways to change. You should first change your attitude about yourself and love they way you look now in the present. Try it by looking in the mirror and telling yourself how much you love your skin, your body, your face, your eyes. By appreciating yourself, the image you project to others will change their perception of you. The other side of the coin - looking at yourself and not liking (or hating) what you see will manifest that same thoughts from others. Try it!

Hi, bmlyeryk, can you please tell us about the skin condition and other feautures you want to change? By knowing specifically what you want to change, it may be easier to tell you if it's even possible, and what approach you can take... (just to be honest, it may not be possible, but let's know what it is first) But for now, as for the belief part, I think it's ok... it's normal, bmlyeryk- the idea of changing your body the way you'e talking about is going to trigger doubts. That is the natural reaction of both your mind and mine and everyone else's... Imagine someone approached you and said you would make a geat police officer with training. The first reaction? Probably, no way! And yet some of the best police officers out there probably had the same reaction at first. Ok, what were we talking about? Oh, changing the body and stuff! My opinion for this approach, bmlyeryk? Just jump into and practice and do it anyway, even though you have doubts. Like stepping into the water of a swimming pool and feeling reluctant at first then getting used to it as you go in... Don't wait until the doubts disappear or you get support from peers, or you read how skeptics accept the idea. It really doesn't work, it creates a repeating pattern and causes you to sit wondering if it can be done over and over again... Like waiting for the water in a swimming pool to suddenly feel comfortable to you before you step in.. Good luck and take care bmlyeryk...
