Don't get me wrong, I sure think it's wise to really get to know one another when you want to get married and have kids or anything like that.

But then, we could all be dead tomorrow, and what about living for the moment and enjoying life right now, not living in the past or the future, and not letting your life get buried under a pile of agendas to check?

Yes i've felt that way about guys...until i get to know them LOL And then i'm VERY thankful that i never ended up having sex with them. I'm all for living in the moment but i won't risk STD's and getting pregnant just for a temporary thrill. I cant enjoy sex anyway, unless i really like the guy,so,yeah, this would never happen!

Not sure if this was mentioned but I believe it has a lot to do with free will. If the person isn't looking for it and/or denies the push from other sources (guides, external factors, ect.) than you'll have a hard time manifesting that relationship. Anywho why would you want someone who doesn't want you? Find someone you have alot in common with or have alot to offer. That's the path to happiness =)

Well its possible,my ex boyfriend waited over a year til i was ready to have sex. And yes,i dumped HIM,in the end.

We aren't meant to think with our upstairs brain when it comes to the ladies. We're supposed to get together and reproduce. That's why we are attracted to each other in the first place!
Well i would rather reproduce with somebody who is preferrably my husband or AT LEAST someone that i know is capable of sticking around after we do the deed, and preferrably someone who would not run away if he found out i was pregnant. This is exactly why this world is overpopulated and full of deadbeat dads and abused kids and STD's and abortions...nobody thinks before they have sex anymore.

Sex and intimacy are important to men (and women), just the way it is.
I'm not saying it isnt important, hell, its practically what i think about the most! But that doesnt mean i'll do it with anybody that wants to.

It's normal and natural to want to get close, early. That's what all those crazy chemicals going through your system are saying to do--get closer!
But those chemicals are based on LUST,not love. When choosing a life partner, you can't let lust control your brain. You cant even think straight when you are under the influence of lust,it makes you a different person.

Their upstairs brain is saying, "wow three months and this girl still doesn't want to be with me. She must not like me very much."
what?! Is that really how you think in that situation? If a girl doesnt like a guy,she wont want to even see him at all! If a girl wants to get to know YOU as a person, before using your body, that means she likes you more than you like her, apparently.

Yes,free will is i think the ONLY reason why you cant use IM to get a specific person to fall in love with you.

I must say, if a guy that I had been dating for three months told me he wasn't ready to sleep with me yet because he wanted to make sure it was right, I would not stick around.

If you tell a guy that you won't get intimate until marriage, he probably won't stick around. AFTER you have gotten over that little honeymoon period where you're both in lust, and you start to see each other as human beings, is when you would know if you had a potential life-partner on your hands.

I think in your scenario, the best you can hope for is making the guy wait and being ok with him seeing other women until that happens.

But... I could be wrong. Your life-partner could be right around the corner.

I almost made this point, but you beat me to it. You don't hear of guys thinking like this. I don't think we're wired for it.

Well, maybe if he was recovering from circumcision, then I might wait.

Because it's a different kind of manifesting. If you want a car that runs, you Intend/manifest, you might get a new car or you just might figure out how to fix the one you've got. If you want THIS car to start working-- maybe it's a classic or just sentimental-- then you have to manifest know how or spare parts. And you will have to be content with what this particular car can become. You'll never turn your Chev Bel 'Aire into a fiat or get it to have 60 mpg.

You see where this is going? The specific person is the old car. Your intention must be to be happy with the relationship, for it to evolve in accordance with everybody's highest good. This may take you down the aisle or it may take you somewhere else, but you'll be happy with it if you do it right.

So here's the scoop. Do LOA to ask for the "right relationship" but keep mention of that Special person out of it. Also, separately, do LOA to ask for rapport/joy with the Special somebody. These two sendings will either bring two people to you or only one. Either way, you will be happy.

And this is the most important clue of all: the feeling matters more than anything.

I wish you the best in all.
Thank you! I'm going to try this.

I had that question after a relationship that I didn't feel needed to end. Trouble is that if your mind is made up that you want to meet that specific person, the fullfillme t of this manifestation would take away their free choice or free will.
Instead, what you can do that works well, is write down the attributes you liked about the person and you will find someone that matches it perfectly when you are ready to meet them.

I never said i had to wait til marriage. Just until i know if i like the guy or not,i mean like him like him, like where i KNOW that i am not gonna suddenly want to quit hanging out with him. I dont need marriage for that to happen, usually its after the 3 month mark.

But then its too late cuz youre already married! Thats why most marriages end in divorce! How is that smart?

Well yes thats what i do,because we are usually just friends,or "casually dating",so yeah, they are free to see other girls,as i am free to see other guys.

Well my ex boyfriend was like this,he waited over a year for me. And all the guys i've dated waited too,we just never got to the sex part cuz i realized the feelings werent happening so i ended it. I dont see the point in NOT waiting around, because if you wait around, you will have a good chance of sex happening, but if you dont wait around, then you have to start all over again at square one with another girl,IF you can find another girl within those 3 months. Guys really have nothing to lose by waiting. You will for sure,if nothing else, make a new friend out of it.

Rockchick.....I'm there with you. I have made a man wait 3 months for me. He did and when we finally became intimate with each other, he made ME commit to HIM! I guess it depends on the situation.

Now....I don't think I would want to wait that long. Wonder if what they say is true about when a woman gets older. Ahh, you know what I'm talking about.
