You might be right!

I seem to remember the Roberts' first attempts were indecipherable, too, and they got more and more clear later on.

I was thinking about attempting to contact Seth, but I got the intuitive sense that since I haven't read the book yet, it would kind of be an insult. Meaning, why waste his time asking questions that he probably already answered in the book.

I've had the book for a while now, but much like "A Course in Miracles", my Ego hasn't allowed me to go past a certain point yet.

I was reading a random page in the Seth book though today and he was talking about physical reality and physical objects being symbols. He also talked about how in our dream world we will also have symbols. He then talks about how some of us who are at a certain level of consciousness are able to get rid of continuity in the dream world, so that for example you might see a child and the child will then turn into a tulip and we're ok with that. This is a sign that your consciousness is evolving past the needs for continuity in symbols in the dream world.

I thought this was really awesome, because one of the things I've noticed with LoA is that I can manifest things a lot quicker if I can imagine it in my daydreams and dreams first without it being "unreasonable" or "unrealistic".

Meaning, if I can't even imagine $100,000 appearing in front of me IN A DREAM, how can I expect it to happen in the "real world".

One thing I did when I manifested $240k once was that I printed out my bank account statement from my online banking and then I photoshopped the statement to say $240,000 in the account. I can now see how that had an effect on my "imagination world". Very interesting stuff... I don't know why I seem to distract myself from finishing books like Seth and ACIM etc.

Well I do actually..it's all just fear.

This is interesting because I've been keeping dream journals on-and-off since I was in college, and I had read a couple books by a psychiatrist named Anne Faraday about various types of dream interpretation. She pointed out that it's important to watch for those moments in writing down dreams when we typically fill in the missing parts. Like if you dream that you and your friend are at a park, then you and your friend are at a store, you'll probably write, "We are at a park and then we go to a store." But you never "went" to the store, you just are suddenly there. After all these years I still catch myself about to fill in the missing parts.
