 |  A future me talking about the past me...??
One of the things that helps me focus or visualize on the things I want to manifest is a future me talking about the past me and what happened to get me to where I am. Like, for example, I'm visiting my best friend in London in about a months time and I am intending for a lot of things to change for me before then. I want to lose a few kilograms, find my perfect apartment, start singing lessons again and sing live at least once, gain a few new writing clients and be totally great financially. So, I imagine myself talking with her and saying, "how are you?" and me reeling off all the wonderful things which have happened to me recently, ie. all of the above. Does anyone see anything counterproductive about this? It really does help me but I'm wondering if a problem may arise in my thinking about the future, and therefore keeping everything in the future, even though I would be thinking about the future me talking about the present me? Make sense? |

It makes sense. It's a lot like writing your ideal scene as Shakti Gawain from Creative Visualization suggests. I may have to do another session as it really does super-charge me. Thanks for the reminder!

| I really like this idea.
You could look in the mirror and have your "future self" update your "now self" how successful they're going to be. Then, the future self can lay it out. Tell the "now self" exactly what they have to do to get to where the "future self" is now. The "future self" could give the "now self" tips. Wake up in the morning. Now self: So, what do I have to do to make it like you? Future self: You have a pen and paper? Take this down... Oh, and whenever you need me, just call me in the mirror. |

Coool! So, great minds really do think alike...smug face. Yes, I like the idea of my future self giving my now self advice and support. Like, "don't give up, what you want is just around the corner, I promise. Oh hang on, gotta go practice for my live show..." |
