Default Help me kill my doubts

I ve been in this loa thing for 3-4 months now,and for about 3 weeks in this forum. In personal development since january. I found this really amazing, and a great opportunity to make my life better, in every single thing. I watched the secret, read lots of great posts in here, and right now reading abraham's book.

I ve had the feeling that all of this is true many times, and really strong, but sometimes doubts come. For instance, I can have one day the strong beliefs that I can change my body(every single part of it) in a way to improve it, and then I read a comment about quantum physics video(observer experiment), and read stuff like "you cannot change the electron with your mind or things like that" written by people who supposedly know about those laws. Then my logical mind comes out, and doubts bother me. I have a friend, who I talk very much about this stuff, and when I say that with your mind you can literally change your body, face(and I am gyms guy), he answers with things like "you cannot change all those things, there are laws that are concerned on that(I think he wanted to say genetic, getting older,fat,thin,ugly,..),or you cannot make your cells do that or whatever". After that, here is when my hesitation about that increases, and also my frustration(because I start to think that it wont be possible to improve the things I wanted to improve).

I would like to have some support for you guys, think you do a great job.
I just wanna make sure that my beliefs stay where I want them to stay,to think that is really(with proof) possible every single moment of my life. Thanks

Hi there

I read your problem and I understand what you mean. There are a lot of things about the way I look that I'd like to change too. And I have actually heard of people who can improve the look of their bodies, but I can't say that they did it with thought alone-at least, not initially. Changing aspects of your physique and body with thought alone requires that you achieve what I call a very high vibrational state. To get this vibrational state, I think it's important to eat high vibrational foods-these foods are fruits, seeds, nuts and vegetables-in North America some call it the "raw food diet" (and I call it that too, for lack of a better phrase.) Many celebrities use this diet to keep them looking young even if they grow into their 40's or 50's-such people as Demi Moore, Alicia Silverstone, Woody Harrelson and Carol Alt are on it. These people look at least 10 years younger than they are, their skin is glowing, their muscles are toned (partly from doing other exercises with the diet), and they claim to think more clearer and be more spiritually aware of their existence.

I am on a moderate version of this diet now and keep a blog/diary of my progress so others can follow along as I change my eating habits. The main reason I did it that way was because I wanted to lay out a step by step process of how someone can go from being an ordinary person to an amazing one, as it sounds a bit fishy when people say this after the effects have occurred. But I am now starting to believe what they mean, and it's so strange that I listed those posts under "magic tricks" on my blog just so most people wouldn't be put off by them (because it is after all geared mainly towards people who just want to become healthier, raw food diet or not.) Not to go on about it here, I'm just saying that has been my experience with it. To give my respect to this forum, Steve Pavlina has his own blog about going on the raw food diet with his own tastes and perspectives, which I think is quite good too.

It can be challenging to go from a standard diet to a 100% raw food diet right away, and if you read through my blog you'll notice that I make several (SEVERAL) slip ups along the way. But it's perfectly fine to make these slip ups, and very natural for somebody on a standard diet to ease into the raw food diet gradually. In the end, all it's about is getting more of your nutrition through eating more fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and herbs and plants. Whether you do the diet 50% or 80%, you're sure to improve your health a lot more than some people do eating meat and drinking beer lol

Incidentally, there are other video clips on youtube that you can watch about the raw food diet. Some "raw foodists" you might want to look up are: David Wolfe, Shazzie, and Kate Magic Wood. They can introduce you to the concepts of raw chocolate and other exotic raw products you might not have heard of, that are rarely talked about but are excellent for the body.

I write it all up on my blog too, if you'd like to try that route as well.

Hope that helps you out. Your instincts were totally right-I hope you find all the health information you seek. Best of luck!

that diet is interesting, but I think mine is good too. Mediterranean diet, rice, meat, also a lot of fruits and I go gym 4-5 days a week. I ve read that there are possibilities of growing taller, getting thiner(without gym),improving your face by just using your mind.I think I needed some proof about it to reinforce my beliefs, think I am gonna focus on that. Nevertheless I am gonna get to know more about raw food diet, thanks!

You may want to check out hypnosis (which is really just a form of LOA). There are many articles / websites / reports which say that hypnosis can be used to alter physical appearance in different ways.

For example, this website:

suggests that with hypnosis, you could do things like these (just some examples_:

After going through some of Tolle's work, this is my new "way" of using LOA and i find that doubts usually subside and that i am less affected by it.

This is how i believe my doubts should be "killed off"

When i have a doubt, i stay present and feel the feeling behind the thought.
I stay present and observe the feeling of tightness that often comes with "doubt".

And then, i tell myself, "I acknowledge this thought is here, but i choose to believe in (whatever you want to believe in)"

At the same time, i make sure i fully accept whatever i am now. I accept that my mind does not absolutely know what is really true or not. As such, i leave it to the universe and trust that it brings me what i want.

You mention hesitation and frustration. I find that by accepting whatever i am now, not "needing" to be something else, trying to "reach" somewhere, my doubts often subside or disappear. I know what i want to have, and i accept that it may take time, it may or may not work and i take action anyway, trusting that i will reach there. I don't need to be it, but i do desire it. I am completely fine with however i am now, but i do desire to have something else.

For instance, i am expecting my eyes to become perfectly healthy and see 20/20 or better currently. I expect and believe it to come but i am completely in acceptance with what i am now. When doubts arise, i feel the feeling of "tightness" that comes with it and become silent in my mind. Then, i tell myself, "Okay, but i choose to believe in ..."

Previously, i wanted to improve my eyesight and thought that once i got it, i would be "better", "happier". I was constantly thinking about getting there, disliking my current eyesight, and as a result, thoughts such as "is this working?", "how do i know if this is working?", "what if i'm doing this wrong?" came up strongly. The doubts kept coming even as i tried to ignore them and affirm positive intentions whenever these doubts came.

Consequently, i became really frustrated and impatient quickly. After an intense 2-3 days of vision improvement exercises, my energy would be sapped off by the frustration and i'd stop doing it.

With my new "way' of doing LOA, i find that my belief that my eyesight is improving isn't assaulted by these doubts as strongly. They still come and go, but each time with less intensity and less regularity.

Hi everyone

I'm sorry if my last post seemed a bit "informercialish" lol That is sooo not my intent. But if I worry about sounding that way, sometimes it ends up being that way, so I apologize if it did.

What I meant to say is that eating more fruits and vegetables tends to be easier on the body's digestion system, and it is usually when the body has finished digestion that it starts to heal the body and do all these mind altering effects that the Protein poster was looking for. For some of us, it can be hard to digest commercial meats and dairy products because they tend to have a lot of hormones put in them (unless you want to buy organic meat). This is why conditions like acne are more prevalent in Western societies than in some other ones. (one of the books I learned this from is called The Clear Skin Diet by Alan C. Logan). However, once you get into eating more natural foods, then you can get into noticing subtle ways that certain foods affect you, and it can appear that fruits and vegetables have higher concentrations of positive energy than meat. I think this is why some people become vegetarians, and that might be a safer way to go for you Protein, if you really want to start using your mind to change your body.

Since you said you wanted some proof of how it could work, I'll give you an example of what happened to me. After I went 6 months of eating fruits and vegetables (with occasional meat dishes), I seemed to be able to heal small scrapes and wounds on my skin just by waving my finger over the area. I'm a perfectly sane person, and I know this can sound more than a bit crazy to those who haven't experienced anything like it, but it happened. It's not so much about being on any "raw food diet" as it is just simply eating more fruits and vegetables than animal products.

Liverpool footballer, I can empathize with you about your eyesight-it's exactly what I'm trying to improve too. Some herbs I'm taking for it are Bilberry and Eyebright-feel free to look them up on the internet. I found this site really helpful-Herbal Eyebright, even if I wasn't as old as the guy they have on there lol

Another good remedy I use is called Triphala, which is an Indian fruit extract used in Ayurvedic medicine ("tri" means "three" and "phala" means "fruit.") I'm not of indian descent myself, but I really found this helped improve my sight.
I think it's best to take it with a vegetarian diet, because I think it it tends to upset the digestion of meat (at least in my experience). But it's totally worth it. My sight has gotten maybe 25% better since taking it and I've read that eyeglass wearers can improve their site so much that they don't have to wear glasses anymore (although, this hasn't happened to me yet and I'm not sure how long it takes to have that happen). My bad eyesight is partially due to nerve damage too, so I can tell this medicine works on other parts of my body and not just my eyes. Some bottles it is sold in will say it is simply a "laxative", but I haven't had any "laxative" effects with it, except for a little nausea now and then when I don't eat properly. I take it every day though-you could probably just take it once a week and then it might not affect you as much. You can usually buy it in a health food store, or else buy it online.

Hope this helps! Good luck, guys
