Question on intending to manifest money

I'm a little puzzled on intending to manifest money. I've read lots accounts of people who have manifested X amount. So, I want to manifest just 100 euros, just to start with. At the same time, I am manifesting my perfect apartment. The apartment I have no trouble visualizing, I know it in my mind down to a T. But the 100 euros I can't really visualize. Some people would say that I should visualize what I will buy with the 100 euros, but surely that will bring about the manifestation of those things? That's also good, I mean, at the end of the day, it's the same thing.
But for those of you who have intended and actually manifested a particular amount, how did you visualize it?

Last fall, as an experiment, I put out an intention for 1000.00, and then I forgot about it ... no visualizations, no affirmations, nothing. About a week later, I got a scholarship cheque in the mail for ... 1000.00! It came as a complete surprise because I hadn't even applied for any scholarship money, but it was certainly a happy surprise!

I generally don't do visualizations when manifesting through the law of attraction; however, I did visualize back in the day when I did spellwork. When doing magical workings for money, I would imagine bills of all denominations raining down over me and piling around my feet. I would wade through all this money like kids do in the leaves in autumn, and I would scoop it up and toss it around, and revel in my wonderful prosperity.

It was a really fun thing to imagine and I always felt great afterward.

That's really cool about the 1,000! See, I'm not so good at just forgetting about an intention. (It's funny, literally five minutes ago I wrote an article about the different ways of dealing with an intention, ie. forgetting about it or visualizing it as much as possible: Article)
Your visualization sounds really good, and great for wanting money to flow generally. (Did it work??? I assume so.) But having read about other people manifesting a particular amount, I wanted to do so also. But really, it's not important, what I really want is a particular pair of sandals, so I guess I could focus on them instead.
Still, I'm interested to hear from others about how they manifest particular sums of money.

Do you all envision yourself with a specific amount of money, or generally being a wealthier person. The former is more specific which is good, I think, but I have trouble actually intending an exact amount.
