Thanks Chris. That is a good distinction. This is all upstream/downstream. I don't know why but maybe it's in our DNA that as soon as we want something we start assuming it's unattainable then fighting ourselves/getting in our own way to claim it.

Wow, Chris, that was an excellent post! Cylon, although I am not in the same situation as you, I too am looking for my own apartment but do not yet have the means. And its so hard not to focus on the how, but since I've been focusing on the how my whole life, and it hasn't worked, I'm completely trying to focus solely on the desire. I will do as one of the other posters suggested and check out some apartments, even if I think that I can't afford them. Let us know how you get on. |
