You can meditate on Vedic Hindu mantra called "Kanakdhara stotra"
This is design for attracting money - condition is you must have faith on it and try to understand what its meaning also .. Would help you but not necessary as Knowledge itself has organizing power

1. one it to give money to charity or nobal cause (If you have little then give even little.) find out diffrent way of help others
2. Thank God in Advance for blessing you with lots of money so that you can give, contribute and use that for better cause and gretest good of all.

Hi Marty,

Right now you're using "I'm out of work and steep in debt" as your mantra. So you might want to consider moving FROM this to something you believe and then to something more powerful.

For example, you might start with something like:

With each step I take (or each breath I breathe), I am moving closer to the work (or job or career) that I want.

A mantra like that will begin to change the direction in which you're moving. When you find the wording that resonates for you, you can beat to that rhythm with every step you take or every breath you breathe.

After you feel a change in direction, you'll be ready for a different kind of mantra.

This may not be the "ancient" mantra you asked for, but it is a powerful process that does work.

You could simply try a one word mantra. One word mantras help you to notice things that are going on around you (and perhaps cause more of them to happen.) I suspect a good one is, "profit." Notice every exchange of goods around you, notice how everybody "profits" and is better off for the transaction. Especially of course those that involve money OR stand in for money. Notice also transactions-- events you could participate in that will allow everybody to profit.

Remember to feel good about every bit of profit that you see. They are examples of what you can and will have...

Others would be "wealth" "enrich" "abundance."

An affirmation might be, "I welcome and make room for the riches that are coming my way." Because that's a primary responsibility: to make room for these things.

You can also say to yourself: 'I love being rich, I love wealth and abundance'.
Startíng the sentence with 'I love...' gives a warm, fuzzy feeling and avoids having doubts, because the sentence is certainly true.

I was out of work once and visualized affirmed for like 3-4 hours a day. Results were very fast and very effective.

make a list of goals/ vision board/box/computer folder

visualize your job or working for companies you have resumes to.

This is one of my favorite techniques for keeping the money flowing:

Every time I handle money, whether it's to check the balance in my accounts, give or receive cash, write or receive checks, I affirm that I will receive 10x that amount.

"I am so happy and grateful that this $x.xx is but a symbol of the infinite bounty of the Universe. Ten times that amount, $xx.xx (ten times the amount you're handling), is on its way to me right now, and will manifest immediately in the easiest, fastest, and most harmonious way possible. Thank You, Universe."

I used to hang onto money with both hands, resenting paying the bills, putting them off until I absolutely had to pay, things like that. I wanted to spend my money and have it, too! But now I realize that I'm not a barrel, I'm a pipe -- money should flow through my hands, going out to others so that more can come in. Now I keep my vibration high when releasing money by reminding myself that it's a symbol of Universal love, going out to bless others as it has blessed me. I also give it away, even if it's just putting the change from lunch into the Ronald McDonald House box on the counter.

I also started a debt reduction process that I found on an Abraham-Hicks forum, so that I can take my thoughts off debt and get them focused on abundance.

You can create a Vision Wall in http://www.Gtdagenda.com

Set up your goal of "Get that Job" or "Create a source of income" etc.

Then in the Vision Wall upload many suggestive pictures that motivate you (use google image search) and link them to your goal. Then set up the reminder in Settings to send you the Vision Wall every morning by e-mail. Each morning, spend 60 seconds or so looking at it.

Of course, after that it's time to take some *real* action. Motivation alone will get you only so far.
