Hi to you all, SO, i'm very new at this whole LoA deal but I so believe in it and SO believe it can work for me (though it hasn't yet, sigh!) I felt the need to blog through my own process of learning how to manifest and would love to turn the site into a place where others may also learn. What it needs, though, are some great stories; proof that the LoA works and exists? So, is anyone willing to let me publish their story on the site (in my signature file). I'd happily put a link back to your site, if you have one. Let me know! Thanks in advance, Ciara

Thanks for your reply Bradshaw. That's really cool about your skin. Please have patience with us beginners, I haven't manifested anything yet, but I will, and that will be enough proof for me. Until then, it really helps to read about other people who have used the LoA. I say used, but you know what I mean, consciously used.

As an LOA pro, I can say that I don't personally discuss my successes or failures. Other people's vibes, intentions and judgements can affect one from afar. If you or your readers need "proof" that LOA works, you will probably find it won't work for you. Needing proof negates the third and most important aspect of LOA: Believe. Jennifer |

Let's not get hung up here on the word 'proof'. It's near impossible to just 'believe' something in the blink of an eye. It takes time, it takes reading, and it takes hearing from other people on THEIR experiences with the LoA. I'm happy that you managed to just 'believe' but it's not so easy for everybody. Sorry, but I'm not going to accept that my asking for 'proof' means it won't work for me. That's rather defeatist. If it takes my reading 100 stories from other people that have learned to harness the power of the LoA to actually 100% believe, then that's fine by me. Whatever gets me there.

If stories is all it takes for you go to The Secret :: Official Web Site of The Secret Movie :: Law of Attraction and sign up for a free account and read all the testimonials there. There are several hundred by now. If not thousands. Asking for proof just manifests more reasons for you to need proof, you would know that if you really studied LOA. Maybe you should study more. Question less. It worked for me. Jennifer

Ok, here's my success story: Recently I had been trying to get a guitar. I was prepared to spend around $300 on it, so I talked to my father to see if he could help me (I'm only 15 may I mention). When I talked to him, he said that my aunt had recently been trying to get rid of a guitar. Coincidently, we had a family picnic planned for tomorrow. So in the end, I got my guitar without having to spend a dime. Thank you LOA. |

Loki, thanks for your LoA story, I'll post the link to it on my website when I have it up. Jennihul, actually no, I hadn't seen that connection. I forget sometimes that LoA applies for everything, thoughts also, not just things. Thanks. But really, I guess I misused the word 'proof', what I really meant was inspiration. I DO believe in the LoA, I just haven't really figured it all out yet, in terms of MYSELF using it, so that's why I like to hear other people's stories, as inspiration. So, EDIT! Forget the word proof! (I had been to the secret.tv website before but hadn't discovered all of those stories, so thanks for that also.)

Hi Ciara A few weeks ago my 9 yr old son was telling me about a flight simulator PC game that he wanted to buy. When he told me what it would cost I told him that he would have to wait for his birthday or start saving. He did the arithmatic and decided to start saving but moaned and groaned about how long it would take and that he might as well wait for his birthday, etc.etc. So I said to him: "why don't you ask the Universe"? So he did. Last Sunday I received a call from a friend. He had just received a Microsoft flight simulator from the wife of a friend who had died last year. He wanted to know if Andy would like it as he felt his own son would not really appreciate it. The Universe has delivered. It took about 3 weeks. My friend did not know that Andy was saving up for or wanted, a flight simulator. Love Lisa |

Hello, I would like to share my latest successful manifestation. Actually, I had written about it before, both on this forum and as usual, on my personal blog diary (The Magickal Mind). However, at that time, the story of this particular intention was still ongoing, whereas this week, it is really about to draw to its final conclusion. In early February, I manifested for money. I intended for something in the region of $5,000, and I had no idea where it would come from. (As regulars on the forum know, I've pulled off this kind of manifestation, actually, on quite a consistent basis). What happened next/ I'll just cut & paste from my previous post: Quote:
I had intended for $5,000 to just come out of nowhere. Instead I will be getting an extra $4,500 every month. Well, close enough. And better. Now, here's something interesting. I never actually indicated to my boss how much more I wanted to be paid. I merely said that I expected a good increase. I left it to my boss to propose the figure. When I was told the figure, I did not negotiate any further. I simply said yes. He proposed an annual increase of $54,000 which works out to a monthly increase of $4,500, which I think is pretty close to the figure I had intended ($5,000).

Lisa and ALG, Both stories are so cool! I think what is extra helpful with reading both stories is that the result really did come out of the blue. I guess neither of you (especially you Lisa) could have predicted WHERE what you wanted would come from. And that really illustrates the point that you just have to believe (I know, I know, I'm trying) and also try not to work out where it will come from, because the Universe will figure it out. Thanks!

Ok! Here is the TRUE story! It may not be so amazing to you, but to me, those things that have happened really means alot. I studied computer university in Belgrade, from 2001 to 2007 or so. I was always interested in computers, but....My passion is music. I play jazz guitar. I never had opportunity to really pursue my dream, to play live, though I always played with my friends, and always trying to form a band, but without success. I thought, "If I could play in some club, that would be WoW". I really didn't have live gigs, and I was telling my self "It is to late now, if you didn't played live till now, it is hard". That was my belief that I was unaware of. Then, I heard that some guy that I remotely knew, has played in "Valjevo Jazz fest". I was like "Wow, that awesome, that is so cool, playing live in Jazz fest, very important jazz fest". I was little envious, and I thought "He is so lucky, I wish I would play there". I was 24 then. And I didn't know anything about low attraction then. I spontaneously imagined my self playing in Jazz fest in Valjevo, like..I am standing in the stage, and I am feeling anxious about all that crowd(I really have fear about public performance), and I am playing some jazz stuff, and I imagined noise around me, other musicians, lights...In my mind, it was like I was there, I felt like I was really there. 1 year later I came to Valjevo to serve army(community service), and since I was in hospital, I here that there is one drummer working in that same hospital, in laboratory. One day, doctor send me to pick some documents from the laboratory, and I thought, maybe that guy will be there. That was my first time going in the lab. I heard that that guy had a beard, and I saw big guy with a beard when I came in. Hm...Maybe that is him, I though to myself. I picked up documents, and said "Are you Marjan". "Yes", he said. So I entered in the lab, introduced myself, said that I play guitar, and asked if he want to form a band. He said, Yes, and he was excited. Few days later we had rehearsal, with another jazz guitarist, and he said "Hey, there is a jazz fest within a month, we could play". I thought, I don't know. I am not ready for that big performance, I haven't had a gig in my whole life, all that crowd...Maybe we should start in small clubs, this is too much for me, am I good enough? But, I excepted(knowing that I had to conquer my fear ), and we had a performance. It was frightening, but knot as half as much as I had imagined. It was success. So I though, amazing, I am starting a musical carrier in 25, LIFE IS MIRACLE. Few day later, a remembered. I remembered that I imagined whole event, I imagined wishing that to happen. I wasn't aware about LoA, until the show has passed. That was amazing part! And when I moved to Valjevo, I did it for different reason, whole thing amazing! From that time, I don't believe in LoA, I KNEW THAT LOA IS REAL! |

When I first came to the US I went to see the Grand Canyon. I was soooooooooo impressed. I knew that my dad would love it and I wanted to share it with him (somehow I was not thinking about my mom). I have been here for 8.5 years they came to visit. Guess where we went the Grand Canyon. They BOTH were so impressed........ But I need to admit many things that I tried to manifest just hasn't happened and some specific events have had time frames. |

I then asked you, "Why do you want to go back to Europe?" You said, "To see my parents." I then asked you, "Well, if you can't manifest a trip back to Europe to see your parents, did you try manifesting your parents to come to the US to see you?" And you said, "That's .... that's ..... impossible. My dad is just too busy with his work."

Once upon a time in a land, um, well, called here and now... I was homeless for about 6 months. It's a long story how I ended up in that situation (something I also manifested). I was working two part time jobs, but I wasn't making enough money to get a place on my own and I couldn't find a roommate. I lived in two different homeless shelters, a hotel, my car, someone's couch, it was rough. I was constantly on the move. One day I was visiting with my son who lives with my mother. I was at my wits end and I called a friend of mine in hopes he would cheer me up or at least stop me from losing my mind. Unfortunately, he was busy at that moment. But he said, "There's never a bad time to pray." Well, I had never been one to pray. I thought God was pretty much a jerk. I blamed him for a lot of my problems. But I basically had nothing to lose. So I said something to the effect of, "Lord, please give me a decent job that pays well and a home so that I can take care of my family." Then, I took my son to Tae Kwon Do practice. I was standing there watching my son in his white pajamas throwing punches and kicks and there was an older guy standing next to me watching his son. We had met before at my son's class, but I didn't think much of it. He asked how I was doing. I said I was doing ok, though I was looking for a new job. He said, "I'll get you a job." It had been 15 minutes since I prayed. Ends up he owned this company outside of town that does work for the railroad. A week later, I was one of his employees. And I wasn't sweeping floors or emptying trash. I was running a million dollar piece of machinery, one of the largest vertical mills in the U.S. I was making more money than I had ever made in my life. The same day I started, I found a place to live. A very nice place for very cheap. I went from sleeping in my car to having all the amenities of modern life: it was furnished, a computer w/ internet, cable tv, AC. My favourite was the free coffee. Now I have job skills that could find me work any place in the country. I also got back with the mother of my children, something I didn't think would happen in a million years. Reflecting back on it all I would say: a) I should have been more specific and b) it doesn't matter what I think God is. I could have said Captain Kirk, so don't get caught up in some metaphysical debate with yourself. What mattered was that I stated my intention. This taught me a lot about how the world really works, which was not the way I thought. PS Ironically, one of my part-time jobs was at a bookstore. Guess what book had just come out? Yep. The Secret. Hmmmm |

Here is my most recent, and it involves co-creation. My wife is a photographer and decided (intended) to switch to digital photography and further intended that the new camera was the latest Nikon product - a D300. She cut a ad out of a newspaper and put it on the fridge. The price on it was $1,799. About once a week, she would point to it and say, "see my new camera!". We also have a dry erase board that we use to put grocery lists (and other things) and she added the camera to it. So, last December there were a couple of teen girls (14 year olds) staying over and I was asked to take them home on a Sunday evening. The temperature outside was about 5 degrees Fahrenheit. I started the car (a 2003 model with about 3,000 left to pay it off) and the check oil light came on. I started driving the girls home and the engine blew about 5 miles away. I had also shortly before that intended (unintentionally) that I would be needing a new car soon. So, I got a new car and they paid off the 3,000 on the old car but did not take it as a trade-in. The value of the car (with a good engine) was around $8,000. I typed a few words into my computer. Waited a few weeks and one day a car drove up with three gentlemen in it. They looked at the car and one of them said, I dread this moment (the dickering) and I said, hey I need at least two grand for my wife's new camera. He smiled and said, I have $1,800 in my wallet. I looked at my wife and she smiled and he made the deal. A week later, my wife is having fun playing with her new digital camera and we have a new car. Literally, the most I had to do for all of that was to, 1. Make a decision, 2. Take action when needed (consisted of talking on the phone, typing on the computer and signing my name on pieces of paper) and like magic, the manifestation happened. |

Here are some possible answers that come to mind: I got out of my own way. I wasn't trying to make anything happen. I didn't try and figure it out. I like to do that. I was truly ready in that moment to begin a new life. I had hit bottom. I surrendered. I was out of ideas and simply willing. I was ready. I was sincere. The insight I got afterward is that this world is the projection of what is in our hearts. I had clarified my intention... a friend asked me when I was going through all that, "Are you homeless by force or by choice?" God exists. What I meant about God in the other post is that I really have no idea who or what God is any more than any one else. Perhaps I'm talking to a figment of my imagination. I also am not real sure what electricity is, but I can turn on a light. The usefulness of the concept is that you can divorce your ego from it. That's what has come so far... why do you think it happened so easily? Have you ever prayed and what was your experience?

and sometimes I would get what I was asking for and alot of times I didn't. It's not that I didn't believe in LOA, I do so very much - trust me. My problem is that I tend to focus on the negative alot, I have been practicing focusing on the positive but even that didn't work because I would only consider it practice and not employ it full-time. What I finally asked for is clarity. The clarity to make the right decisions, the clarity to stand back and not respond when in an argument, the clarity to know when to get involved, the clarity to realize that I'm a good person and I will get the good things I want in life, the clarity to understand why people behave the way they do sometimes and the clarity to know that sometimes things take time. Clarity is an awesome thing to ask for. My mind was filled with alot of confusing thoughts and it was hard to make decisions when dealing with all that conflict. I have clarity now to know that I control my actions & thoughts and no one else's and there is alot of comfort in knowing that. Clarity to let go of the past & focus on the present, clarity to realize that I have alot of self-worth and should love myself because the kind of person I am is awesome. Clarity to know that whatever I want in life is achievable, I just needed to realize that if I believe in it, it can happen. Once you achieve clarity, you start to realize how LOA really works and instead of feverishly thinking about every IM you want to put into effect, you take a laid back approach and determine what are needs and what are wants because there is a huge difference between the two. If you want to ask for something, if you want LOA to bring you something, start with clarity of thought. |

What seems to be the most likely IMO are these aspects: I got out of my own way. I wasn't trying to make anything happen. I surrendered. I was out of ideas and simply willing. I don't know why, but sometimes amazing things happen as soon as a person does this. Unfortunately, I'm sure there are many cases where nothing amazing happened at all. It's been a long time since I've done much praying, though I used to pray all the time.

Mark Chpt. 11 22"Have[f] faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." It's the part I have emphasized that I think many people are missing. As the Buddhists would say, what creates our suffering is our attachments. The meaning of forgiveness is really to give up attachments. I think people have a hard time manifesting because they are maintaining attachments to the current reality through negative emotions. For example, I was very angry with my parents. I have a younger half-brother and half-sister. Both of them were given anything they wanted. They went to college and chose whatever courses they wanted to take. In my case, my parents had nothing for me. I had a laundry list of experiences where my parents treated me badly. If I wanted to go to school, it would be on my volition. I had this whole idea that they owed me something and that's why I was in this situation. By forgiving them, I was able to realize that I had made these choices and there were major benefits to not having the world handed to me on a silver platter. I still felt that what they did was unjustified, but I could forgive them anyway. I grew up in that moment. In regards to the Bible and God, Jesus and whatever, the mainstream interpretation has been these are the beliefs that you are supposed to believe handed to you by someone else. If you really read what Jesus said, he describes more how to use belief than what you should believe.
