| I have come to the conclusion that the reason why my intentions aren't manifesting is because I want them NOW. Patience is a virtue but I can't seem to grasp that concept enough to apply it. Any methods on this. Anything is very much appreciated. |

| Hi, JKrump, I suggest not being afraid to want your intention to manifest right now, because it makes sense that you would want what you're trying to manifest as soon as possible. What's wrong with wanting it to manifest now? Obviously you don't want what you're trying to manifest 2 years from now, you want it right now! Epecially if you feel you need it (depending on what it is, of course, right?) For example a car to get to work..... One way to look at this for example - If wanting it now is really preventing it from manifesting, then imagine sending this message the next time you try to manifest something; "I DON'T want it now, bring it later on or whenever" . Would thinking that way make it happen any sooner? Perhaps it could also be the method you're using too, would you mind posting the method or general idea that you're using for us so we can get a clear idea of how to help, JKrump? And then if you still like, I can offer some techniques of my own that have produced some interesting results and for others too. Take care and good luck... | Read the Power of Now and practice present moment awareness. Your impatience will disappear.

| I have been manifesting patience and love along with other "stuff" I want and it really helps. I feel if I am close to god-source, first and foremost, then the rest will come easily. So, that's my first order of business. I gotta say... the rest IS coming... so, why not ask for patience? GL!

| My suggestion is for you to take your focus off of having it NOW, accept that you cannot have it NOW, and then channel your focus and energy on doing what is required to obtain what you want. Keep in mind that you must have the right motive. I used to have this same problem until I decided to change my attitude. Also, if you just wait it out long enough, you'll soon realize that more patience comes with age. As long as you keep working on it, eventually you'll get there. But for now, don't expect to just instantly become patient overnight. Its ironic, but the truth is it takes patience to acquire patience. Another thing is if you really want to learn patience, then I suggest learning more about Jesus Christ. If you want to learn what Jesus Christ was like then of course you'll need to humble yourself to get to a point of reading and accepting his word as the truth for your life. Bottom line, there is no simple answer. Acquiring patience is a lengthy process. And everytime you think you're patient, you will be put to the test. Its in those very moments that you should reflect on yourself and work harder at it. Last edited by MrNotebook : 05-14-2008 at 08:59 PM. |
