Hello,

Ok, I read a little about loa on this forum. Anyway, to be honest, I dont believe in it, however, I would like to believe, or better yet, to know that it is possible.

So I would like to read success stories... from you guys.
Anyone 'succeded' ? Im not talking about wishing/getting something... one time only. That may be a coincidence, I would rather want to hear(read) about manifestations that occur... more then once.

That will not make me believe, again... since I ussualy don't believe in something that one or many people said, i need to figure things on my own, before i actually start believing in something.

I succeeded so many times I don't even know where to begin telling you. (And I am not the only one on this forum who has succeeded - there are many others).

Just a few personal examples from me:

I am writing this post in the apartment I manifested. I had the exact apartment in mind as some friends lived here a couple of years before, but at that time I didn't have the salary to afford it. When I did, I starting thinking about the place again. The woman who lived here worked for me and was telling me she was thinking of moving, but perhaps not for a year or more. I started visualising that place being mine for after she left. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, she suddenly left to go back to England, leaving me with a hole in my department but the flat that I wanted. Fortunately on both accounts I had a new department member within the week, plus the keys to the apartment, but cheaper than I had expected because the landlady said I didn't need to pay for utilities as I was living alone! An intention I wrote about 6 months ago mentions a 2 bedroomed apartment by the sea, but with views of the mountains. My terrace is directly over the sea, I can see it from my bed, but from my front door I have clear view of the mountains.

Also, about a year ago I wrote an intention about a boyfriend I wanted to attract. I had nobody in mind at the time. I stated that I wanted him to be able to make me laugh, make my tummy go funny when he looked at me, and that he didn't speak any English so I could improve my Spanish. 2 months later I met him (on 07/07/2007 - don't know if that has any significance). He ticks all the boxes, and 10 months later things are still going strong. However maybe I should have put, doesn't have psycho ex-girlfriend

Other things have happened/I have created before I knew anything about LOA, just things I had utter belief would happen, such as moving abroad, changing careers, outcomes on meetings, conversations, and when I intend, I try to achieve the same conviction I had before I knew about LOA, difficult to do surprisingly; Too much knowledge can be a dangerous thing, or maybe I'm just trying too hard.

About 3 years ago, I wanted to move to Tokyo, Japan. The desire was absolutely enormous and obsessed me day in and day out.

Now, the chances of an American citizen working in Japan are as follows:

- marry someone Japanese
- get a job teaching English in Japan (example: JET program)
- get a corporate job offer from a Japanese company

Now...getting a corporate job offer is close to impossible. Japan has very stringent visa laws - only high-level execs would be "worth" the cost and bureaucracy. So, most young people like me try to get jobs teaching English. However, most people are posted in the country of Japan, not in Tokyo.

I first applied to the JET program. I was rejected (most people are rejected, do to overwhelming supply). But I NEVER gave up hope. I just knew that I would get to Tokyo somehow.

And then, a co-worker asked that I go to a work convention. I wasn't scheduled to go, but I went. There, I met someone who offered me a job in Tokyo. Working international business.

I lived in a beautiful apartment West Tokyo, just minutes from JR Shibuya station. I made a pretty awesome salary. I was living the glamorous expatriate life, travelling across Asia for my job.

This is definitely the biggest, and most complex, manifestation I've ever intended.

I manifested exactly what I wanted on two counts.

A few months ago I stayed at a Korean Buddhist Monastery where they offer Zen Martial arts as a path to enlightenment. I was very impressed, went back home
4 1/2 hours away and said to myself,
“I have to have this in my life”, “I need to get back there”.

I wasn’t happy at the job, had been thinking about breaking my contract.
I spoke to Zen Master about it in an abstract way.
He said I should leave if there were problems but understood I could pose more problems with immigration.
My VISA was contingent on the job, if I broke the contract, I’d have to leave the country, I felt I had no choice but to stay at a bad job.

*I wanted to study the martial art more intensely, he suggested I move to the temple. I didn’t see how that was possible while stuck in my contract, VISA regulation, living 4 1/2 hours away.

*I wanted a university teaching position for a few years, but as I don’t have a Master’s degree, it didn’t seem plausible. I spoke with other teachers who said it would be impossible without a Master’s unless you had a contact at the Uni. and that I shouldn’t break a contract no matter how bad the job was. While I wanted to honor the contract and receive the yearly bonus, I wasn’t in agreement it was the right step to stay in a bad situation.

Once I got back from the monastery, I decided to apply for university jobs, within two weeks I had two different university offers, one was an hour away from the monastery, I took that as a sign and accepted the job.
The other offer paid more, was a better university. As well, I received four more University interview opportunities.
Exactly one month later, I went back to the monastery and spoke to the head Monk of my good news. He offered that I live and work there if I ever decided to change careers.
I left the bad job in the 9th month and had no VISA problems.

I never pictured myself already at the monastery
I never said I am at the monastery
**I said: “I need…”, “I have to have….”

Was I attached to the Monastery or the University job?
I thought about it a lot, I went about making changes and knew in my gut that breaking the contract was the right thing, but no I wasn't attached.
**I believe the universe provided me with what I needed because it was the right way, not because I posed my intention correctly or incorrectly.
***I also feel that perhaps the Zen MAster meditated on it as well, but I don't know if that's true
