David Schirmer video

First let me be clear. This is NOT an anti-LOA post. But I would like to know what people think about this clip, where David Schirmer appears to be exposed as a con man. Personally, I make no judgment. But it appears to be quite damning.

I felt a little sad for David Schirmer when that thing happened, but... Such is life, Dave. Sadly, this guy is a con man and a charlatan, and he basically just got arrested by The Karma Police. It happens.

I saw the video too and he sure looks guilty...

I think there's nothing wrong with judging in this case because one can see much evidence of dishonest dealings, and also his reactions which are also damaging.

When appearing on "The Sercret", he appears well dressed, articulate, authoratative, and wise... like he knew exactly what he was talking about...

When he was exposed to the accusations and strongly questioned as to when and if he would return his investors' money, he squirmed and stammered and seemed very embarrased and at a loss for words... a lot different than his appearence in the movie don't you think?

And during another confontation in a hotel, he tried to grab the camera out of a camera man's hands and remove the tape... this image is totaly at odds with the presentation he made in the movie....

It brings up the question, if he has so much experience to teach others about L.O.A, then why is he himself in this situation? Did he attract this situation?

Because of this, I feel it is ok to judge, considering the people who trusted him and were victimized, and if only to help remove these types of problems from creeping into concepts like manifesting and psychics ect....

Greed and selfishness executed without regard for others was his mistake. People start forest fires but that doesn't make fire bad, it means some people do bad things. People use guns to commit crimes but guns aren't bad, some people do bad things.

I do agree with the idea the publicity could be bad for the IM camp.

O how I hate the idea that there is an 'IM camp.' Why do we have to identify ourselves with the idea of 'IM'? Why can't we think for ourselves? Why can't we be individuals.

I see the 'IM camp' not as those who try to use it, but as those who make money selling the idea. Incidentally, these are the people who seem most eager to give testimonials that IM works. Like David Schirmer here, for example.
