Please can anybody recommend me some good books about the Law of Attraction? I have succeeded with the law of attraction, and results were fantastic, it was like a magic for me. My friends were surprised with changes in my life. (maybe I will share my experience later when I have some time, I suppose it can be interesting for newbies) But I'm familiar only with main principles of the law of attraction and would like to learn more about it. My English is not so good yet, but please recommend me some good books about the Law of Attraction in English language that I can purchase or download for free |

My favorite is "Ask and It is Given" -- it's more about feeling good than material gain, like some of the other LoA stuff I've seen. Please tell us about your great results when you are ready -- it's not just newbies who will enjoy it, we would love to celebrate with you! |

I second Ask and It Is Given. I love that book! If you go to the Hicks' website, you can subsribe to their daily Abe quotes. I really enjoy them and look forward to getting my little dose of Abe every day. You can find more information there about their books as well. Abraham-Hicks |

| ![]() "The Intention Experiment" is an excellent book for those who are interested in understanding how the LOA squares with our current scientific understanding. You won't actually find the phrase "Law of Attraction" in this book. However, you will find an excellent survey of scientific studies and discoveries across many decades, which in one way or another, involve the effect of intention on reality. Topics covered include: (i) the human body as a receiver as well as a transmitter of quantum signals; (ii) scientific research into paranormal feats by yogis, Buddhist monks; qigong masters etc (iii) the prayer experiments (iv) research into alleged psychic phenomena (v) esoteric experiments like the effects of meditation on fruit fly eggs (whether the meditation leads to any change in the lifespan of the fruit flies that subsequently hatch etc). |

| ![]() "Law of Attraction" by Michael Losier is a good book for LOA beginners. It completely avoids the more esoteric stuff which may trouble or turn off LOA beginners (like non-physical entities; entering altered states of consciousness; self-hypnosis etc). Many of its recommended LOA techniques are based on straightforward writing exercises. Through these writing exercises, you identify what you don't want; you identify what you DO want; you identify the reasons why it is possible etc .... Its other LOA techniques are simple ways to think more positively. All in small incremental steps. |

| ![]() This is for those who don't walk on the wild side, but would like to see it done. Stuart Wilde is certainly a guy who walks on the wild side - his adventures into other realms and meeting other sorts of .... entities .... make Erin Pavlina look .... just a little boring. Anyway, in "The Force", Stuart simply explains in full all the absolutely Big Questions. Such as how and why you came into the universe; where did this universe come from; what happens when you die etc etc. Although the book does not use the phrase "Law of Attraction", I mention the book in this thread, simply because the book IS about the Law of Attraction. You will see, from this book, how your thoughts are inextricably bound to the nature of your entire reality. |

| ![]() I'm still digesting this one, and it is very profound .... I do not really feel able to comment on it at this point. I shall just say it is a book for the Very Serious Seeker. This is a channelled text, like Jane Robert's Seth and Esther Hicks' Abraham. Except that the entity channelled here is supposedly Jesus, and He's not doing a Q&A. He simply lays out chapter after chapter of very profound reading. Again, the phrase "Law of Attraction" is not used here. But the book is once again those books which examine the very fabric of reality, and therefore I mention it in this thread. |

| ![]() I'm not a Christian - in fact, I follow no specific religion at all - but when I started learning LOA, I became interested in finding out more about what different religions have to say about prayer, and how religious followers pray. Obviously, one can see the similarities between the LOA concept, and the prayer concept. Prayer is after all a kind of thought - the praying person seeks to communicate with his god(s), and in every religion, we're told that those who are faithful will have their prayers answered, often in quite extraordinary, miraculous, unforeseeable ways. While in LOA, we're also told that those who hold strong beliefs in their intentions (an attitude equivalent to deep faith) will find their intentions manifesting, again in quite extraordinary, miraculous, unforeseeable ways. This book - "The Amazing Laws of Cosmic Mind Power" - is written by a Christian pastor. Here he relates numerous accounts of many different people that he's met, (presumably in his capacity as a church leader). They tell him their personal problems, and he teaches them how to pray, and voila, God intervenes in the most interesting, amazing ways. |

| ![]() It is a shame that few LOA practitioners today seem to know about this book. It deserves its place as one of the very best "how-to" books for LOA. It is extremely readable, very clear .... and so very powerful. I wish I had come across this book much earlier, but it is a recent discovery for me. I see that it was originally published in the 1970s, which kinda tells you why most people don't know it now. Recently it has been reprinted again. If you already believe in LOA, and you just want to know how to apply it in a better and better way, this may be the only book you'll ever need. Also, I'm aware that many people have been put off by the crass commercialism of "The Secret" and its emphasis on material things like cars and money ....... "Creative Visualisation" by Shakti Gawain may work better for them. It certainly does talk about prosperity as well, but overall it presents a much more holistic approach to the things you can do with LOA - for example, to heal your illnesses; to help other people; to improve your relationships (and not just the romantic kind, but with people in general); to gain access to wisdom; to become a more loving person; to grow spiritually and so on. Wow! You have received alot of choice! I also can sincerely recommend a title called "The Mastery Club" by Liliane Grace It is aimed at kids from 9 years plus, but I bought it for my kids and can't put it down!!! Its a brilliant fable that translates the Law of Attraction into REAL LIFE like I've never seen done before! Good luck on your journey, Om Shanti |

Don't forget "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles. It's the original book behind "The Secret". Much better than The Secret in my opinion, especially if you'd like to test out LoA on building wealth. |

COuld you tell me more about this book? I absolutely love Stuart Wilde stuff. One of his books I read in December totally changed my point of view on dieting and physical discipline and I've been able to discipline myself to exercise every single day for the last 77 days in a row since January 1st. His stuff kicks ass. Every other book you listed I own and read and would also strongly recommend. The only one I haven't finished reading yet is A Course in Miracles (has anyone?). | |

| Don't have the book with me now, but there was a chapter about faith healing. Think they did experiments like measure the brainwaves of reiki practitioners as they did their healing. Also there was some research about a qigong practitioner as to how he used his powers to kill one plant, and to restore another dying plant etc.

So my "recommended books" list continues: This is a recent discovery for me. Once again, this is one of those books where you will not find the phrase "Law of Attraction" anywhere. But the book will discuss again and again the role of intention in altering reality; the importance of visualisation, and so on. This is a book about magick. It is - seriously - about witchcraft and so on. For example, while the basic mechanics of casting a magickal spell are based on your thoughts and intentions (as per LOA), the book discusses how to augment these processes, through what the author calls "correspondence systems" - chakras; astrology; the invocation of deities; the use of crystals; the use of the elements of earth, wind, fire, water etc. |

For practical use I'd recommend "Your heart's desire" by Sonia Choquette. LoA isn't mentioned once in it, but the book is all about manifesting your heart's desire based on the very same principles. The book doesn't deal in scientific or philosophical discussion, but is a step by step manual how to manifest what your soul really wants in your life, with personal stories interwoven. I loved to read it, and the results I got from working with it were pretty stunning.

At ALG's recommendation I've picked up Creative Visualization and so far I'm really impressed. It has a lot of answers to questions often posed here, and seems to have been a strong inspiration for the Abraham-Hicks stuff. It's already made me think differently about a few important things. In one part, she divides our life experience into three things: being doing and having. Having is a relationship you have with other elements of your reality. I've been trying to think abuot what defines "having". it's not access, it seems to be more like control, but I'm not sure. Anyhoo, she says that our way of thinking may be backwards, as most people try to have more (ie money) so they can do more and thus be more. The actual way might be defined as be what we want to be, to do what we want to so we can have what we want. Interesting stuff. |

The Secret is a good simple start but way too basic and doesn't get much into spirituality or the very important aspect of feeling as the most significant aspect of manifesting. Here are some of my recommendations for more in depth LOA. The Power of Intention by Wayne Dyer Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn Anything by Abraham Esther and Jerry Hicks |

I haven't read very many books on the LoA, because after a while I realized I wasn't getting anything new out of them. I have the audiobook of The Secret, which I listen to occasionally; I've also read Ask and It Is Given by Abraham-Hicks and Wallace Wattles' The Science of Getting Rich, and got a lot out of them. The Science of Getting Rich is available as a free download in .pdf form here, and can be read for free on the Web here. I haven't read the two other books by Wattles that are available as .pdfs--The Science of Being Well and The Science of Being Great--but maybe someone here will find them interesting, so I'm including the links. I skimmed Charle's Haanel's The Master Key System, which has come recommended, but it didn't get much out of it that I hadn't already found in the previous books I'd read. But I can see why many people recommend it. It can be read on the Web here (scroll down), and his Mental Chemistry (which I haven't read) is here. |
