Do your parents know about LoA?

Do your parents know LoA,intention-manifestation?Did you-do you talk about LoA-intention manifestation with them?

My parents know some about LoA.Although i want to talk about it with them alot,i stop myself.I am not sure if they know it it is better or if they don't know it it is better,but i prefer not to talk about LoA with them much.Although i don't talk about LoA with them much,they still know it,sometimes my mother tries to talk with me about it.For example yesterday she asked me a question about LoA.I know that my fater have read 2 books about if before,one was years ago,and the other one was last year.(it is my all-times favourite book) and my mother have read just one book,but my father told about the other book to her.

It sounds like they have an interest, so you should talk with them about it. They will probably feel good about sharing something with you, even if you are more interested in it than they are.

No and i don't plan to talk about it. If i told her about it to my mother she would probably say "If this power doesn't come from (the christian) God it comes from the devil". I now only spare myself from useless discussions.

One time I was talking to my mom on the phone. I said that I believed that we are the ones that create our lives and that we can choose to have anything we wish to receive. She said, " I don't believe that at all."

I will never forget that statement from her because my parents have been living a not so happy existence for years. They also don't approve of my choices in life, but I am very happy. I wish they could be happy as well, but I can't do that for them, no matter what choices I've made in my own life. Unfortunately, I have already tried that.

I have told my parents, light heartedly about it. They think its total rubbish frankly. I have given up on their closed-mindedness, it makes them happy and its like fighting an uphill battle. So...I just stay quiet about all my personal development exploits.

Yes, I tell my parents about the LOA.

They're mildly concerned that I may be in contact with ghosts and spirits who do my bidding and fulfill my wishes. Apart from that, they're quite fine with LOA.

I wouldn't dream of telling my parents about LOA!

They are far too closed-minded to want to know. My father has been a scientist for 40+ years so I know that he will just try and debunk it.

This is a difficulty I face myself daily though - alternating between believing all the LOA stuff and then questioning it because I'm not seeing results.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I'd love to know I'm not alone in this.

when I was very small, back in the 80s I remember after school once my dad said "Today Im going to teach you about positive thinking". Today, both my sister and I are naturally optimistic people (maybe as a result of his little brainwash).
When "the secret" came out I bought him a copy and we saw it together, he then saw it with his wife and gave it on to friends, and he totally agreed with it.
My mom who lives abroad, seems to be practicing it anyway, she seems to be manifesting her wildest dreams in a big way.
Both my parents are an inspiration for me. I guess Im lucky.

My dad talks a lot about "law of reciprocity", but it's something I don't really talk about too much with him, maybe in a general sense. If my mother knew what I believed she'd start crying thinking the devil was leading me astray from jesus.
