Default Clearing Negative Emotions

Over the last year I have learned so much about myself and the power I have to create my own reality. It has been the best year of my life! My awareness has intensified and so now I understand that when things that I desire aren't manifesting or I have some negative emotion, I need to clear something that is blocking my success. I have been doing some clearing affirmations for the past 30 days and I see the benefit. I wanted to ask the family here if there is an activity they do to help clear negative thoughts, feelings or emotions.

My sincere congratulations for your success in feeling better!! I've been on the same journey myself and must say that I wake up every morning, with a sense of purpose and being happier.

I mainly use EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, to help in targetting negative emotions. Although I've applied it on a range of issues myself, I also saw a therapist for my deeper issues. You can find out more about the technique in a free ebook that is downloadable at EFT Provides Impressive Health and Emotional Freedom--New Discovery Often Works Where Nothing Else (the originator of the technique). You are basically using your fingertips to tap on the meridian points in your body, to release negative emotions. It works!!

Default follow your feelings

Hi,

I take a litle time to relax and bring up the ideas that seem to be blocking me, once I get the ideas I allow myself to feel the accociated feelings and acknowldge them as valid. I allow these feelings their full experience and in doing so release them. To stop them coming back I alter as many of the ideas that have caused the blocks as I become aware of them.

Here's one for you that I found really helpful.

I write down my negative thoughts or emotions and then scrumple up, tear up or even BURN the piece of paper.

It will really help you, honest!

I agree Brian.

I stumbled upon the "tearing up" one years ago when I was really depressed about a breakup I was going through.

Once I tore up the photos I had of her, I was amazed how much better I felt and was able to move on a lot faster.

I now use that trick when something negative starts going through my mind. I'll write down the thought on a piece of paper and then tear it up. It works great for me.

Another technique I use (this one from Tony Robbins) is to;

- Decolorize the image in your mind
- Decrease the size of the image in your mind
- Make the image less bright

And also adding funny sounds and clown-like noises and music to a past memory or feeling you have can also work wonders.
