I've always had a number as well! Mine is 3. Amazing that you chose your nickname BEFORE you realized your connection to the number 9. Bet it didn't really surprise you, did it??

There was a phone number on it:

(I could have the digits in the wrong place, but I know the phone number reduced to a 9)

His license plate was "5054-2B"

My latest synchronicities are dragon-related.

Started when I took my kids to a toy shop and I saw these toy dragon miniatures. They are made up of many small parts and you're supposed to assemble them (like a 3D jigsaw). I thought they looked quite cool but my son wasn't interested so we didn't buy any.



But since I'm experimenting with manifesting strange things, I immediately spent a few minutes in the toy shop focusing on thoughts about dragons.

Next day, I visited my parents. My brother visited too, and brought his little daughter (my niece). Their family had just come back from some beach holiday somewhere overseas and my niece had gotten herself a henna-dye tattoo (non-permanent and washable). Guess what? It was a dragon!! Something like this:



A couple of days later, I was in a bookshop and in the New Age section, I found two new titles about dragons. Not fiction or fantasy, but about dragons and how to invoke them. Now, there are lots of strange things in the New Age section of bookstores, but you gotta admit this is strange. I honestly haven't seen any such dragon books before



Now today at lunchtime I got a little bored. I work in the central business district, but I decided to take a long walk, and I ended up somewhere in Chinatown. I passed by a couple of Chinese temples and noted the dragon statues and carvings. I guess it is to be expected that Chinese temples have such things, but the point is -

I wasn't thinking of dragons at all when I decided to take a long walk. Wasn't thinking of Chinese temples either. The dragons just decided to present themselves into my reality.

Well, the dragon synchronicities have continued in the past few days.

Just found out that some guys in my office have just formed a canoeing team. They chose the name "The Dragons" for their team. Although they are into canoeing generally, they hope to do some dragonboat racing too.



On the way to the loo just now, I saw that a colleague had left a fantasy novel on her desk. It had a picture of a dragon on it.

Steve Pavlina has a thread where he discusses his chess-playing adventures. He mentioned a well-known chess opening, the Sicilian Defence. I began to compose a post in response, to explain the intricacies of one of the main variations of this opening. This variation is known as the Sicilian Dragon.



I laughed when I realised that this was another synchronicity. I didn't finish the post.

Browsing the news in general, I found that the creator of the game Dungeons & Dragons (Gary Gygax) passed away a few days ago.

They keep happening and some are so serendipitous that I just HAVE to tell someone!

Yesterday I was driving my car and remembered that it was time to have a look at the sticker in the windshield from my last oil change and compare it to the odometer reading to see if my next oil change is due.

Sticker in the windshield read: 72,705 miles

Odometer reading read: 72,705 miles


What are the odds??

ooh it's freaky friday! Lately for me it's been people arriving right when I think I need to ask them a question, and other stuff like wanting certain threads to be bumped, as I think of them.

I have a morning routine where my diabetic cat gets breakfast and I get a cup of coffee. Then she gets her insulin shot and a treat. She gets real excited about getting a shot because she knows it means a treat. This morning I got halfway through the newspaper, then went in the kitchen for part 2 of this routine, and I was singing bits of songs with the word "shot" in them so that she would meow excitedly. I'm not sure I've ever done this before. "Hit me with your best shot!" "I shot the sheriff . . . " "Shot through the heart! And you're to blame!"

Went back to the paper, and there was an article in there about how they're filming the new Johnny Depp movie in this state. A picture caption had a typo (I have no idea how this got by spell-check) which said: "Shoting is taking place this month."

I'll rebump here. Dancer told me about the webcast on Oprah with Eckhart Tolle, so I've been watching that. On one, he says to ask yourself "who am I?" . This doesn't really have an answer but the idea is to go beyond ego.

I've been going through a lot of changes the last several months, doing PD. And I'm at the point where I don't know who I am anymore, which is not bad, I'm just moving away from the past.

So I'm thinking of this today. And I ask "who am I?". I get in the car and turn on the radio, and right there it's a guy who asks "what am I?". And I'm driving a little saying "I don't know who I am anymore."

So now I watch the third part of the Tolle webcast. And what does he say? That when people start moving away from ego, they often say "I don't know who I am anymore" and that's a good thing, and he congratulates them.

So anyway, lol. The question here is, "how far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?"

One of my intentions I write down twice a day is that I am noticing synkros and ENJOYING them, because it's a little uncomfortable. I don't think the ego can handle the experiences you get when you notice reality reflecting your thoughts. It's too different. I'm posting this to ground myself. I keep dipping my toe in the water but I have to remind myself it's ok to dive in and that I can handle what happens.
