| Hi everyone, I read recently in Steves blog about the million dollar experiment and how he set about finding money on the pavement and anywhere he went. So, I thought IŽd try it myself. I said to myself, I intend for the good of everyone concerned, to find coins in the gutter where ever I go. I said this a couple of time over a couple of days and went about my business, at first I consciously tried to find money by looking in the gutter and on the pavements. Result, nothing. After a while I forgot to consiously look and thought this might get better result. Result, nothing. I mean absolutely nothing, not a single coin either large or small. So what am I doing wrong? Has anyone else tried this and did they have any success? If so, can you let me know how you did the process? I must be doing something wrong but I donŽt know what. thanks |

| I've tried almost the same experiment. While I now consistently find change on the ground (dimes, pennies) I don't find any significant amounts. Upon reflection, I theorize that one cannot manifest found money in this fashion since in order to to find it, someone else must lose it. No gains at the cost of another person's loss. You might wonder then, why the change? I suspect it's because people have become unfazed by the loss of such small amounts. In fact, notice the number of people who will leave their change behind at a store because they consider it too much trouble to carry around. |

| joe, I thought about that, too, and I felt uncomfortable with the zero-sum nature of it. The way I started to think about it is visualizing that money didn't matter to the people who dropped it. I also thought that to some people, rich people, 20 dollars or more might not be a lot of money, either. I have yet to find a 20 dollar bill, though, might just be where I hang out doesn't include a lot of rich people yet. In general though, there isn't a limited amount of money, practically speaking

| I've tried this too, but then I realized I always keep my head high and don't look at the ground too much. Back in the days when I was depressed I would always look down when walking outside... I don't intent to go back to that! However, there is a guy on these forums who succesfully manifested this. Let me look it up... ah, his name is Dreamlife Hero, he should by now be driving around in a Mercedes CLS Coupe and here is where he talks about finding money. Have a look! |

| For another rationalization you could consider that someone had Karmic reasons for losing the money, maybe they stole it, got it ripping off old ladies or scamming little easter bunnies, Of course you may have to give something away, help an old lady or save a bunny to earn it , but hey....... You could also accept the theory of subjective reality and believe any money left on the sidewalk was left by people you created so they can leave money. You could also believe some imaginary entity is out there leaving you money and that no-one lost it.

But seriously, I'm coming around to the point of view expressed in the post referenced above: Quote:

| Forget about "how" the money should manifest. Why do you care if you find it on the ground, someone mails it to you, or people start throwing dollar bills at you? Just focus on attracting money and leave the "how" to the universe. It will come up with a much more elegant solution than you could have. |

| Have you ever left a penny on the ground after seeing it and thinking it just wasn't worth your time to pick it up? What message does that send out to the universe!! "Ummmm... no thanks, I don't need your money"? I've done this in the past, but after reading "The Trick To Money Is Having Some" by Stuart Wilde, I now ALWAYS pick up a penny or whatever money I find on the floor. Also just to note... when you ask for money to be left on the street for you, you're sending out a vibration that you don't already have the money. Instead of praying for money on the street, feel the feelings of delight as you find money on the street. Mark
