I am still unclear about this whole fundamentalist Islam thing out to destroy the western world is a real phenomenon or a creation of my own mind. In either scenario, what good can I do the situation by continually observing it in the news and radio?

The first answer that comes up for me is-so that I will be informed, however even if I am informed as possible, what affect can I possibly have on a situation like that?

My take on it is that the only good I can really do the situation in either case is to work on my own character, work out the inner freedom of myself and others, and to continue to follow this vision of peace. What solution is there but the love and peace of God? And what better way to bring this state about than to cultivate it in my own being?

So in regards to my personal vision for my life, would either of the above possibilities be better off if I modified my pursuits? It doesn't appear that way because my real estate career and business with Success University are not only a vehicle of wealth and financial freedom-they are also a vehicle to refine my character, develop inner & outer discipline, increase my faith, love, and inspire thousands of others to do the same. It allows me to help others and use some of major talents and gifts to bless the world. It is a vehicle of personal, mental, and spiritual transformation in which I can apply myself whole heartedly.

So let's speculate and say this "terrorist plotting" business is not just a figment of my imagination when I hear of people wanting to obliterate western culture...

Let's say we're approaching a drastic change in the way we'll be experiencing freedom, society, and our culture as we know it. So What? --->What else is there to do but what your're doing already Gabriel?

Let's say the end of the world is in 2012. So what? What else is there you for you to do but what you're already doing?

Get Closer to Experience the Creator

Inspire People to Creator

JUST DO IT WITH GREATER FOCUS, PASSION, AND ENTHUSIASM.

So either way my friend, continue up your path. Keep following your vision.

If everything does drastically change, keep trusting the Creator & realize everything is only a temporary condition anyhow. God will see you through to your radiant shining Destiny.

I have to admit, I've mostly given up watching news. I choose my own reality instead.

I think there are a small number of people from all regligious viewpoints who may have misunderstood their religion enough to think that it advocates violence. There are more people who are manifesting it, by feeding their energy into it.

I intend love and peace and will pass that energy around wherever and whenevery I can. So like you Champions Choice, I will live intentionally and aim to raise my consciousness and that of those around me. That and this site, are the real news! :-)

I come across many ignorant people everyday who think pit bulls should be banned, that they are "children killers."
Why? Because they've been bit by a "pit"? No.
Because of what they've heard.
I grew up hearing it, too, and once I met a "pit" (not even a breed, it's slang. .) I have never wanted any other breed. They are the most intelligent, loyal and beautiful dogs. They represented us in WW2, they are search and rescue dogs and are more frequently being chosen as police dogs.

I urge you, next time you're at PetSmart on a Saturday Adoption Day, go say hi to that "pit" in the cage. Ask him if he wants to go home with you and which him respond to you.
They are great dogs.

I fostered a pitbull for two months...she was the sweetest dog ever. She was also stong, fast, playful and very intelligent. She didnt have clipped ears either, and they are so pretty when they aren't.

I wish I could have kept her.

This is one of the points where Steve and I depart a bit. He claims there is a single consciousness, so all the people you see around are the manifestation of that single consciousness which is what you call "I". They don't have their own thoughts or actions. You create it all.

I say each person and every single creation (including your PC, your car, a piece of rock, etc) has a unique consciousness, and each is a "universe", but I meet back with Steve in that all of the "I"s experienced within each universe is the same one!

You can liken this to a computer game. Each unit you see on the screen has its own mind, but the computer is running the show. The computer is the single consciousness where the individual units are created and ran. If all you see is the screen, you end up thinking the units have their own minds.

Anyway.. Back to my point. When you see something on the news, you are not necessarily creating it (unless you are personally contributing to it somehow). It is created by another consciousness, and the fact that it is visible from yours might have some meaning to you... The questions is, once you see it, what are you going to do about it? Help keep creating it? Be neutral about it? or help stop it?

You can't force anyone to change. All you can do is cultivate change within their consciousnesses and hope they change their own minds. Forcing people makes things worse because when people are attacked, they cling to their thinking even more!

By the way, Islam does not promote terrorism. I am very sad to see Islam being degraded in the hands of control freaks who will use anything to get people to carry out their plans. If you research Islam, Sufism, etc, you will realize what these people are doing are not aligned with its core teachings at all. Neither the prophet, nor his followers every wages war on any of the "nonbelievers". They did fight however to protect themselves. Quran does not promote war, but it could certainly be misinterpreted that way.
