I understand the LOA and I understand that you must focus on what you want and FEEL it. But how do I know what the FEEL feels like? Do i feel a certain way? Can I see it? Does my head start to hurt a lil? Do I feel my heart beat faster? I feel like when I was doing drugs a few months back (ecstasy and marijuana) I could manifest and FEEL. Now i'm sober, and I feel confused and frustrated. I can't keep my mind clear I don't think and I don't feel like i am doing this correctly. I want to feel good now, that would be nice, but I don't feel like its working...what is a simple or easy or just a way to do this correctly? |

There are so many different ways to use LOA. Many of them work without you necessarily feeling any different from usual. For example, you could just sit down and write about your intentions - this is also a form of manifestation. However, when I sit down to do some really serious manifestation, I do experience certain unusual sensations. For example, if I close my eyes, I may see pulsating colours/ I may also feel my body becoming very heavy, or feel tingling sensations in my arms. Recently I also experienced for the first time some sensations in my chest area, which I find difficult to describe. It feels like something going round and round deep inside my chest area, and something dissolving. After I finish the visualisation, I normally get the sense of having just "awakened", as if my mind had temporarily gone somewhere faraway, and then just come back. It is a bit like waking up from a deep sleep, but upon waking, you are immediately quite alert and fresh, not drowsy or sleepy. (But sometimes I do get a somewhat heavy feeling in the head; especially if I end the visualisation session abruptly, instead of easing out of it). Coffee helps to clear away that heavy feeling. |

I enjoy visualization, but it does take a little work. What I have been doing is writing out my intentions, word for word, pen on paper every day. I re-write my "life script" every day and the slower process of hand-writing, makes me focus more on each word. I do get visual images, but even though it's "writing", I believe it is actually a form of "visualization". Time tends to slow down.

Rio, I just wanted to say, when I'm deep in a meditation my body feels the same way it did when I was on ecstacy. So sometimes I just try to remember how ecstacy feels physically while I'm reading my affirmations or my goals and sometimes I'll start to feel it! But before I was able to meditate in this way, I'd read over my affirmations/goals and then kinda daydream about how i'd feel if my goal was attained: proud/happy/confident etc.. and while I'm daydreaming I'd start to feel those feelings... I hope you figure out what works for you! And HOORAY for kickin the drugs aside. we totally don't need it!! |
