Global Intentions

Intending the world to be a better place, for government to become more loving and less dominating, for partnership in everything, for varying interdependence throughout all of nature and with us, more giving, less receiving, all of those attributes and more. Why don't we all intend for the world to become a better place instead of simply focusing on our individual goals? The only intentions I have for myself are the ones that will make the world a better place, so I was wondering if anyone else holds an intention like this because it is ultimately what we all are looking for. A fully conscious world where people share ideas with compassion and listen to others' point of view wile suspending judgment. This is a wonderful thing to shoot for, I hope I get to see it in my lifetime. Peace.

If you want to see peace in the world, then intend peace for EVERYTHING in your reality.
If you want to see abundance in the world, then intend it for EVERYONE.
If you want to enjoy loving relationships, then intend loving relationships for ALL.


NOBODY can have any objections against this, because it's for the benefit of ALL.
So, why don't we simply DO that, instead of asking the universe for private favors?

Let us intend Health, Abundance, Peace and Love for ALL.

That you for your beautiful words. I was touched and must let you know that many today share your thoughts. I would also like to mention that in addition to intention as being the root of all manifestation, we must get up out of our seats and continue the next step towards action.

It's a nice thought.

However, if you cannot even fix your own immediate problems, it seems doubtful that you could save the world.

Eg if you cannot even be loving & kind to yourself, or to those around you, it is very unlikely that you could transform the whole world into a kind & loving place.

Fix yourself first, if you can. Then help your family. After that, then your friends, relatives, colleagues. Then your wider community. Maybe your state, or country.

Leapfrogging to save the whole world ... Sorry, you might be Jesus, but most people are not.

Actually, now I am reminded of some Buddhist book where a monk wrote something to this effect:

"If in a single day, every person on earth was kind to himself and just one other person, there would be world peace."

And it is my opinion that many people are very cruel to themselves. They ill-treat themselves.

For example, all people who suffer from a lack of self-esteem are in fact ill-treating themselves.

Because you project the world as a place outside of yourself.

You won't take full responsibility for all you have created, so you see the pain and suffering and call out to all of us to help you, to help the world, your world.

And all the time you see your world and don't like what you have created.

You can give up control..........but never responsibility.
