I don't pray for answers. God is not an oracle, or some sort of divine, slot machine, where you put some money in and out pops a little card with your fortune written on it (well, maybe he is for you).

I pray that I may have the courage and strength to keep to Christ's word and not fall for every superficial, glitzy teaching that comes along, courtesy of your paymaster.
